Just received Michael Lee's mail, forwarded by smashed_1 (via Hoe Lim) with respect to those@ccc going to the Badminton World Championships 2007, hosted by Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 13 to 19-August-2007.

I sincerely hope you can help by circulating to those interested to come to Malaysia, to visit Malaysia, to watch the World Badminton Championships 2007 which is held for the first time in Malaysia, and at the same time to participate in the World Senior Invitation Badminton Championships, all of these at a very special rate if they can confirm before 30 June 2007.

Michael Lee is organising the World Senior Invitation Badminton Championships 2007.

Below, some info;

World Senior Badminton Championships 2007:
When: 20, 21 & 22-August-2007
Where: Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia (near Kuala Lumpur)
Events: Mens Singles, Womens Singles, Mens Doubles, Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Eligibility: Participants must be older than 40 years old as at 1-Jan-2007
Fees: US$50 per player per event
Format: Knockout Format and Scoring will be the 3 x 21 Rally Point Scoring Point System
Entry Deadline: Saturday 30-June-2007

:eek: Wow, that is not cheap at all. some double players could pay USD$100 for a 15 min game.

Hi kelvin_k,

I think that USD$50 for an event@International Level is quite reasonable.

However, we hope that the prizes for the winners are greater than USD$50 each. :):):)
