kanako Yonekura is Back ?

It seems like the former number 1 japanese ladie's single Kanako Yonekura is back ?! Her last "real" international tournament was in 2006 during China Open. She was runner up at the last Osaka International tournament ..

Anybody can tell me if she decided to retire and want to play just some less graded tournament on few occasions ? or she suffered from an injury ?
I would be sad if she retired, i'll certainly miss her so beautiful smile on court =) and I never got the chance to meet her :(

no idea... but i do hope she is back as Jap's women are not as strong as they used to be before... :D

Kanako Yonekura had to withdraw from the Japan national team.But she is still playing for her team-YONEX team.

I found that Japan's Kanako Yonekura and Korea's Jun Jae Youn is participate in new zealand open,it's a good news.If Jun Jae Joun come out,maybe she can fight with Xie Xing Fang/Zhang Ning

The pictures doesn't do Kanako justice, she is so much prettier in person and is a very nice person too.
