Shb 99 98 90.which Pair Do You Prefer?

im hoping some people can comment on the shb 90 and 98 thanks!!

I currently have a pair of 98's and love them over the 99's. I did have a pair of 99's but sold them because I didn't like the cushioning as much on the 99 compared to me 98's. Personal preference I suppose.

Plus, they look better :D

Can't really comment on the 90's, but a few people I know that has them say they are very comfortable.

I haven't try the 99 or 98. But I do own a SHB-90, in my opinion an excellent badminton shoe.

Pros: very cool for sweaty feet. I find this shoe to be very well ventilated with the double russel mesh. It feels very comfortable to wear. It's also very well cushioned where I can hardly feel the impact after landing from a jump smash or a scissor kick. It forces you to stand on the balls of your feet instead on the heels because of the 'higher' heels.

Cons: The heel is a bit high for a badminton shoe. Moving laterally is a bit slow...lacking the newer lateral crawl technology. Sole rubber markings a bit fragile.

I had being wearing a shb 98 for over 2 yrs already.. i really love that pair.. it's very good looking and durable.. i like the cushioning as well especially for a heavyweight like me.. but althought i bought a shb 99 ltd and shb 99 low, i still prefer the shb 98 alot in terms of wearing it while playing.. but too bad it's no longer in production.. miss it a lot tho.. The action that we use to have last time together.. i wear my the other 2 shb nowadays for playing.. not the 98.. heartpain nia..

i heard the 99 has lesser cushioning and support on the ankle area.has any1 felt this impact?or the lesser cushioning on the 98 doesn't affect you at all.

i have the 90M, 99Ltd and the 89MX. among all i prefer the 99Ltd the most. 90M second. Tried the 98, so narrow for my foot. So, best is for u to go and try out till you get one that you feel comfortable with.

At the end of the day, we all can say each one has their own personal preference.. right?
