I made some changes to the forums......

Hi kwun,

Thank you for updating to the latest version of the software and updating the BWF 2007 Tournaments Calendar.

And it was a nice (not silly) message that you announced. I thought it was excellent. :):):)

For those who have missed the message, this was what it said......

============ start message ============

BadmintonCentral.com forum is currently down for site maintainance, will be back shortly.

we apologize for the inconvenience caused...

in your service,

- BadmintonCentral.com staff

the usage silly message:

While you wait, how about pulling your racket from your racket bag, take a piece of silk cloth and carefully wipe off all the shuttle marks on it? after that, take your rackets and practice some overhead swings. make sure you rotate your body, pronate your wrist, and follow-through in a very smooth and fluid motion. for extra credit, make sure your motion is relaxed but tenses up at the moment of impact. please be extra careful if you have a low ceiling.

============ end message ============ :cool::cool::cool:

Cheers... chris@ccc

yes. you can quote multiple messages in this new version

This should be a useful function and prevent people from quoting someone, and replying four separate times to different sections.

Can this work for quoting different posts? It has often happened that people have replied to responses from different members by posting another post, where as they could have just undertaken more than one quote.

try it out... ;)

I would like to say I just did, but I can't work out how:). I cheated and copied the information. Anyone know how to use?

click the "multiquote" button on all the posts that you want quoted.

and then click "quote" to reply with quotes. then the quoted reply will contain all the posts that you selected.

i just did that for this reply.

Right, so it quotes different posts on within your same reply, not separate sections of the same post. I understand now........I am a bit slow.

...yep, pretty easy, as all we have to click is the icon(of the selected posts)..However, long thread could be a bit tedious but it's still a time-saver which beats the manual highlighting-copy-pasting process..;):cool:

Yikes.

turned off again now. thanks for noticing.

Does the software support text signatures? That will be a good trade off between enabling automation and causing headaches.

Now, the multi-quoting ability - I can't believe that this has been made available only recently.

.
This "multiquote" thing is really very useful... It tells us who said what, and where and when it was said.

Please be encouraged to use it.

.
Hahaha... :D:D:D

The 'HOW' posts will depend on methods such as 'type, or cut, or copy, or paste'. :cool::cool::cool:

and,

The 'WHY' posts can only be explained by each individual member@BC. :):):)
