New bton hall in Cheras

There's a junior bton competition going on at the Challenger Hall in Cheras. Took part in it today. Loved the range of players there but quality of organizing it very low. Think its degrading to badminton game.

Anyone hv similar experience to share? Or tell abt your experience in other junior tournaments - whether good or bad?

Hello... jrmanu. Which event did u played in this trmnt at Challenger? Ystdy in the 3 & 4th round, there were 2 cases of players slipped and injured their ankles due to sandy courts. They didnt even sweep the courts b4 starting again on Sunday.

Apart from high standard of players participating:), i dont see anything that went well. :(:(Matches dalayed by 2 hrs or so, trmnt referee's table crowded with players trying to register themselves, an umpire wanted to fight with a parent:eek::eek:, un-courteous match announcer etc etc.

Sad episode for Msian badminton......

Sad episode for Msian badminton...... yea in a way it was bad but the court was good tho there was some dirt i think those boys shoes werent great i used a yonex power cushion and the grip was amazing but i sliped after i jump smash and that was becasue the court was a lil wet.

I m a guy studying in a secondary school at USJ Subang Jaya. I go trng at Sunway. Am totally 'nuts' abt badminton. Played in MSSD,also Sgor Closed before. Best achievement was quarterfinals. Played in MBA Muhibah doubles.... guesss what... managed to get 1st place! :)

Would like to play more, more, more..... this school holidays. Let me know if u come acrosss any trmnt ok?

Yes, Scanner, i know sba in Msia stands for Selangor Badminton Association. Hope Sabah or Sarawak BA is not SBA too.... otherwise very confusing:confused:.
