I haven't played for two weeks, and i played for 90 minutes the other day, which consisted of 6 games of singles (new rules) and training. It was pretty intense and 3 days after the day my arm is still killing me.
I think I might have to give up badminton for the time being because i do so many others sports, qnd it is hindering my ability to do other stuff.
I think I am a very wristy player, I need to learn to use my body in clears etc, because other people I know don't get aching forearm, triceps etc after playing...

Hi ya
Yeah your correct that people normally dont get aching arms. Firstly, u might want to see how ur hitting the shuttle. If ur arm is aching, it might mean that ur not using ur waist muscles enough. By rotating ur waist for shots, your shots are much stronger, and ur arms dont have to work as hard. Also, its crucial that your footwork is correct to, because ur waist is used more efficiently when ur behind the shuttle, and in perfect balance.
Hope that helps!!

maybe you pulled something? if it's quite sharp pain, and not a dull tired pain, then it might be torn muscle tissue or an over stretched muscle. if it hurts in the tricep, you might have played a shot too hard or something. it happens to me now and again. let it rest.
