the vietnam open was good because they provided livefeeds straight off their website for free. the size was a bit small but the quality was pretty decent. it's a real shame the THA open doesn't have such facilities.

i don't think you're giving PTS enough credit here.
he's been performing very consistently the last couple of tournaments, which is why i'm not surprised to see him do well.
in fact, i backed him to beat andre in my Pick-A-Winner game, bit of a gamble perhaps but i've got confidence in him.

remeber seeing her in 2005 in a tournament scoring agood win over Anita Kaur of IND, but not much since then.

After Cheng won the World Juniors in 2004, she climbed steadily and then hit the wall in a big way. Only in the last little while has she been able to show her true talent. Being a small girl, I think she was losing out physically. Also Anita Kaur is from MAS :)

Vietnamese player Nguyen Tien Minh beat the 14th seed Joachim Perrson 21-12 19-21 21-17. He will take on Anup SRIDHAR of India in the 3rd round and should he prevail, he will earn a spot in the quarter-finals probably against Ng Wei of Hong Kong, who is the 10th seed.

I think this is a very good chance for Nguyen Tien Minh to get into the semifinals. Although Ng Wei is stronger on paper but Nguyen Tien Minh has been know to trouble some of the top players especially one by the name of Lee Hyun Il.
