Don't be sad. Look at it this way. Every additional match CH plays increases WCH's chance of beating CH in the CO next week. It's good to note LTS determination to win.
Great to see the Germans creating upsets in an Asian tournament,maybe they have a new coach? Hope the Malaysian coach do wonders for ENG doubles as well, then it'll show it's not so much a problem of talent in players as talent in coach.

tournamentsoftware still hasn't updated Zakry/Fairul vs. Thai match but according to The Star, the MAS lost - 18-21, 21-16, 19-21.

Well..even before the tournament started, I predicted that ONLY Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita would probably go the furthest, ie: quarter-final. I am glad that Tommy Sugiarto also can reach his first GP Gold Quarter-Final! Not a bad addition to his WR points :cool: A win for either player today would be considered a bonus.

Maria Febe and Alfiat Yuris Wirawan/Wiqfi Windarto also did well in going through the qualifiers and gaining important points before the AJC and WJC.

Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan also started to show some quality as they beat Tan Bin Shen/Ong Soon Hock in 3 sets.

Yup, Febe got 2720 WR points. Alfiat-Wifqi got 1670 WR points. They are better off than a lot of other Juniors competing at the Asian Juniors in 2 weeks.... ;)

The MAS WD have performed quite consistant for every touny they took part, they never wins with those pair they usually lost to....this showed they didnt improve in their game...they will never go any where.....if they keep being 'consistant' in this way......they needs break thru...in order to be in the race.....if not....some other young will be catching up....very soon.....and they might not be in QF anymore.......:(

LWW/CTF having tough time with the Thai pair i think.......as they play in their home ground......and they playing so well lately....hope the mas pair will prevail...
