With the few top pairs not appearing, I boldly predict the doubles pair of Tan Bin Sheng - Ong Soon Hock will take the China Masters.

And if I am wrong, I will not commit any 'Indra type promise of sending my photo with my autograph to anyone'. :D

Based on the fact that they have beaten CAI-FU previously in the MO and Rexy has given them fatherly advice and attention.

CAI-FU have been 'mapped' --- the Malaysians know their style of play. On a good day, if ONG-TAN can carry out their Rexy strategy, they can beat CAI-FU. I am hoping today is the day.

TBS/OSH still lacking some factors in Top class MD Players : Skills, Speed, Net Play etc.... Feng Yun is TOP in the world at the moment. Would be hard to believe they can be shocked by TBS/OSH...

It seems for now REXY only bets in on KKK/TBH to win any titles.. The rest MAS MD pairs.... very DISAPPOINTING as their form is very inconsistent!

I haven't seen them play in China SS. But judging by the results they havent done anything to warrant such a comment. Then will probably make it to the SF, but even then, thats is because ZB/ZJ managed to beat AC/RB, and not because MAS pair has been able to beat anyone out of their league.

It's different with TBS/OSH,I guess, though I'm very very supportive of them.Anyway, they should be desperate to do well this time after being scolded by Rexy for losing in the 1st round in Thai Open.

But you're talking about beating the World #1 pair who have been on fire for the last few tournaments and playing at home. Possible but unlikely! Nevertheless, my pick : Tan/Ong :D
Malaysia Boleh!

It kinda hard for our MD to beat CY/FHF,but i believe TBS/OSH will try all their best. They had beaten FHF/CY once.Dun be suprised if they can beat CY/FHF again.Nothing is impossible.Good Luck to TBS/OSH.

One of the positive aspect of the rally scoring system, is that it allows more upsets. This is one upset I am hoping for TBS/OSH to achieve today. This is the Beauty Of The Game.

Well, base on the truth form of Feng Yun. There wasnt any single pair can beat them for now.
ITs the worlds against Feng Yun now. There is unlikely a upset could be done here by the MAS Pair.

That's cos cai/fu didn't have the guts to play their compatriots who's known to have an advantage over them in training, so a W/O was arranged.

Pity that they can afford to do that, unlike the scarce resources other countries have... or a particular country over-abundance of resources that constantly fail..?

Ai... there is some mistake from TBS/OSH. Bin Shen fails to defence the shots from Cai/Fu for so many times and Soon Hock did made some error on the net. They are really slow on the court today. They let their opponents to seek chances to attack them. Is Rexy Mainaky not around, they let themselves lose a bit? Same like all MAS MD in the Thailand Open. That's why they lose. If Rexy is around, i'm sure they sure will tighten up their games... Oh... WC is near adi....

Firstly, you can't be certain that XZB or GZD weren't genuinely injured though I acknowledge that such stunts have been pulled by LYB in the past. Secondly, if it really was the direct order from said head coach then this is no fault of the players'.

I agree with PjSwift. It is a disgrace that CAI-FU were given a WO. Even if they win, so what - they won unfairly.

And don't try to justify XZB-GZD were injured. It does not work on me, nor any Malaysian fan here.

You're missing my point. pjswift referred to Fu/Cai as gutless but I was just stating that this isn't the case. A lot of people don't like how LYB does things and I don't like it either, but the blame should not be extended to the players.

As for the injury thing, I was just stating that there is a possibility that it was genuine. I'm not justifying their injury. If they really weren't injured then LYB has done bad again and I dislike him more.

The only thing we should be proud of Tan/Ong is being the fourth pair in Malaysia still manage to advance into SF. Judging from the style they played in China Master, these kids still have quite a long way to go if they want to be the major title contender. Tan/Ong rely very much on tactics trying to keep the bird low and use fast drives to play against their opponents, this may work on veteran pairs from Denmark but most probably will not come fruitful against Chinese and Indonesians. What Tan/Ong lacks is the power game, at some point, you need to setup an attack like Fu/Cai and KKK/TBH to be effective else is too one dimensional.

Agree. Just because the father is bad, it does not mean the children are. Just my gut response to some gutless post. And I apologise for my rash words on cai/fu.
Players usually have some genuine injury. The question is whether it is bad enough to gift a w/o. May be wrong here but I have never seen CHN giving a w/o BEFORE a match to non-CHN opponents but it is common enough to compatriots to make CHN look gutless.
