DinkAlot is very experienced with Badminton equipment... and I believe you can take his words for it. :):):)
He said that the Armortec 900 Technique is significantly head heavier than the Armortec 800 Defensive.

Hi Ketut,
I saw you playing with your brand new weapon, AT900T, on Sunday Victorian International. Way to go man. Another Taufik Hidayat influence. :p:p
Hope you enjoy your new weapon. :)

Hi Chris, I still confuse choosing the right string whether BG80, BG65Ti or Nanogy 95 (NBG95). Can anyone help me? I'll decide tomorrow. Will my other rackets be ready tomorrow?

I did enjoy using it but the string broken before 1 game finished. I used other racket and it happened too (the string broken after 2 matches).
Kevin, do you have AT900P? If you do, is it good? I don't have many rackets and after reading some posts in badminton central, I'll buy another AT900T to prevent my bad experience in tournament (I didnt have racket after the string broken)
cheers,

My personal preference is BG-85 :)
For AT900P, I think you should talk to TonyP. This is getting off-topic though :)

Ketut, I don't have AT900P and sorry to hear of your bad experience with broken strings on both rackets. What a bummer, eh. Whether to buy a similar or different rackets, it's your personal choice. With 2 similar rackets, you get very identical feel immediately. So, you take less time to get use to the change of racket, especially during tournament.
As for myself, currently I prefer to buy different rackets because I enjoy playing/trying/owning different ones. But you should know that I am not into tournament. So, I don't really care if I can get use to the racket or not.

As for my string preference, BG-65. :):)
Reason: It's one of the cheapest, durable, many colors and every stringer has it. :D

Hi Ketut,
What BadFever said is very true.
I would recommend that all our players@ccc should have multiple number of the same racket during tournament. And each racket is to be wrapped with the same overgrip and to be strung with the same string with the same tension.
Then if the string of one racket breaks, you can have an immediate replacement racket with the same feel.

Your new Armortec 900 Technique could be ready for you for our Sunday CCC League Games on 22-July-2007.
Tomorrow night, at our Friday CCC Social, please let me know which string you would like it to be strung.
I remember that... at our Wednesday CATS last night, 18-July-2007, you told me to have it strung with Yonex BG65Ti@25lb.
And your other 2 rackets will be ready tomorrow, 20-July-2007, @our Friday CCC Social.
Cheers... chris@ccc

Thanks Hagane. I refer to this info http://www.distrisport.be/downloads/yonex/2007_Badm_StringsShuttles.pdf
For high repulsion BG80 or BG66
for durability and speed NBG95 or BG65 Ti
hm... Different people is different preference :)

Hi Chris,
I decided to use BG80 at 24lb. Will it be ready this sunday? So I could use and test it straight away for the league. Thanks.

Hi btchia,
Just found your question about buying new rackets@CCC.
Yes, the price quoted are still available for members. And they are all Made in Japan for players in Australia.
Some of our members who have bought those rackets can let you to get some feel of what they are like.
We will talk more tonight, at CCC@Waverley.

Hi chris, I'm in the market to get a new racket, are the prices still valid and any suggestion for an intermediate player.
Current using an old Yonex Ti8 with a Yonex MusclePower88 as backup.

Hi ShyYen,
Yes, the prices are still valid. :):):)
Perhaps, other players@CCC could talk with you during our sessions and/or in this thread, regarding your required racket(s).
Because many of them have bought new rackets, they are in a better position to inform you. My rackets are still those "Old Golden Goodies". :D:D:D
And I am usually impartial, when we talk about about rackets. This is because with so many new rackets coming into the market nowadays, I just couldn't catch up. :D:D:D
