Fran should find himself a younger partner....but then Rian Sukmawan/Eng Hian faced a similar fate last year when they were finding themselves beaten left and right in the early days.

However, I am encouraged by Luluk/Alvent's resurgence in the past 2.5 weeks. They managed to beat yet one of Rexy's boys again....this time Gan Teik Chai/Lin Woon Fui.

just look what's on tournamentsoftware
<H3>Regulations

Match schedules may be adjusted by the referee in order to give enough rest to players with sequential matches.

they should add:

Update of results may be delayed or postponed to next day in order to give enough rest to our staffs for breakfast, branch, lunch, tea break, dinner, super.........this apply to our livescore service as well......

nope, you're incredibly wrong... as people (inside source) told me, the PO is catching up with their target quarterfinals in friday... so it wouldn't serve them right to procrastinate it.... as i look into the tournament software, some players have just 2-3 hrs of break.... so it's really exahausting...

About TH. It's easy to predict that he's not gonna play at max in PO. He only plays at max when he has a goal more than just winning the tourney, i.e. winning an elite tourney, winning over LD, breaking a record of retaining an elite title, etc. he might be worried about his expecting wife too maybe. i think his wife is on her 9-mth pregnancy already...

Once again, our dearest hafiz hashim dissapoint us again.I really sick of his defeat and i think he ownself also has the same feeling. His badminton career is going to finish if he continue like this. The World Championship next month is my last tolerance and chance to him but i doubt he will dissapointed us again.Really feel sad and angry.

Why can't Hafiz lose to a Russian? What's wrong with being a Russian?

And why should Malaysians be disappointed with him? He's only representing himself in the tournament. He should be the one most disappointed with himself.

He never asked for your support. When he loses and you display your anger towards him, how will he feel? He will be like "What the...? You're not the one who lost, I'm the one..."

Of couse, if it's a team tournament, it's a different story.

As a Malaysian we support Malaysian. Dont tell me you support a foreign player. In that case, Hafiz would be even angrier. How will he feel then? He will be like "Darn!! what the ___? You dont support me and that's why I lose"

Just kidding. Just hope that Hafiz can bounce back and do better next time.

You don't show your support to him by venting your anger at him every time he loses. For example, it's silly to say you won't support him in future anymore, because he never asked for it in the first place.

Ha Ha, but i picked Ronald OVER Sony Dwi ......which i think mostly will pick the other way round (wonder why the points 10-10) :p:p:p
They are even....I did not pick them for PAW...I do not like to pick PAW with equal Odds..love getting bigger points...such a gambler....:D I do want Sony win and play against LCW

YES.. He oso a over-biased CHN Team Supportes here

Its alright, be happy :):), back to topic. I think im surprised by China WS though. ALthough XD conquered by Taipei and Korea, but other categories still as strong as ever. Still, the favourite Show will be MS & MD. Too bad, no LIVESCORE :crying:

Yes, you are right and mostly will think that way. But sometimes, the MOST UNPICKABLE one, will be the one that strike the points although same points !! :D:D:D In facts, this is my first time to pick Ronald OVER Sony.

I suspected why FHF/CY got a WO from Xie/Guo....at least we know that neither Xie/Guo got injured..??? now at least CHN has a decent MD pairs now, HHB/Shen Ye, now Xie/Guo....I am glad that Luluk/Alvent has a better result than in the past, hope that you can prove that they can beat this up-coming CHN pair.

Up/coming CHN pair??? They have been around since God knows when

Overall, a good day for INA.

Team Pelatnas dominates the QF for the XD with Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir, Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa and Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita all advancing. One semi-final spot is also assured as Nova/Butet will face Devin/Lita. One suprise was Mohd Rijal/Greysia Polii failing to make the cut for QF as they were beaten by the Chinese Taipei pair Fang Chieh-Min/Cheng Wen-Hsing. Fang/Chieh will challenge Flandy/Vita tomorrow. Flandy/Vita better be careful and not under-estimate them  Nothing less than a title will be acceptable here, with the withdrawals of almost ALL the top pairs

There are also 3 Pelatnas pairs in the WD. Lilyana Natsir/Vita Marissa advance as expected and they will face a stern test against Chien Yu-Chin/Cheng Wen-Hsing tomorrow. Jo Novita/Greysia Polii also did well in beating a Korean pair Hwang Yu Mi/Sun In Jang and they are likely to be defeated by Yang Wei/Zhao Tingting in the QF. The 4th seed Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti struggled against the Russian pair Nina Vislova/Valeri Sorokina and they have another tough match against Satoko Suetsuna/Miyuki Maeda tomorrow.

In the MD, Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto qualify for yet another QF. If they can beat Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo (who surprisingly beat the second-seed Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya), a first final appearance in 2/3 years beckons for them. Meanwhile, the club pair Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki also did well in qualifying for the QF in beating Chew Choon Eng/Hong Chieng Hun. They have an unenviable task of beating the top-seed Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong tomorrow.

In the MS and WS, Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Adriyanti Firdasari are through to the QF. Sony faces a revenge match against Ronald Susilo (who beat Bao Chunlai today), while Firda will face Wang Yihan. It will be a big morale booster (and also improve their WR) before the WC if both players can win their matches tomorrow.

It costs quite a sum to continuously SMS overseas. Better to SMS someone else in Manila.

Don't worry, our Hau-Ge is rich enough to afford the smses and continuous calls to Manila :p

"fan" is actually short for "fanatic". So you are both fanatical fanatics :)
I am just a normal fanatic.

Hahaha...I am a fanatic...but not so fanatic :D

I think Gunawan lost because the rest of his group were anxious to hit the beach. ;)

Doesn't Tony pay for his own tournament expenses? Because if he does, I am sure he doesn't want to go home with a small pay-check, or none whatsoever, just to "hit the beach".:p

Or maybe Tony treats the trip as his summer holiday trip. We the ordinary people go for summer holidays and just pay and pay. Tony is different as he could still earn back part of the money that he is going to spend for the holiday ...

It's hardly for TG/CW to keep their performance if they continue to train separately as a pair.....
