According to tournament sofware,KKK/TBH win 21-4 and 21-12 and they used only 15 minutes to win...How can they do that as i see the Korean Han Sang Hoon is not bad when playing the mixed double just now or he is too tired...

now i know why KKK/TBH match is not on TV court cos the organiser predicts that their match ends too quick and less excitement and intensity.

Maybe Han Sang Hoon was too tired after playing 3 setter at XD sf, and Cho is too inexperienced.

Helloo,., (sorry out a bit from the topic), sometimes its just quite annoying to me (refer to bold - U refer to what, huh!). INDONESIA : derived from INDO (Indus) and NESOS, so nothing (refer to bold). Bear that in ur mind! I know how that word (refer to bold) come out and what is the meaning, especially in Malaysia. OK.
ps : Respect and U will earn Respect. Do u want ur country (where u born n grow) call in a different way? (Or U don't care at all, huh!!!).

I'm totally confused why you're offended with the word "Indons". I have been supporting the Indonesians the whole afternoon and to be reprimanded at the end of the day is disheartening..... at the very least you should explain clearly why you find the word "Indon" offensive..... Say nicely, lah!

I think that reference may have negative meanings to some Indonesians, if not all. The negative reaction is so overwhelming your wholehearted support for INA is overlooked. Better to use the standard BWF abbreviation of INA for Indonesia in future.
May I say you have done a terrific job of 'livescoring' ,actually better because of action descriptives.Your point-by-point updates give a great feel of how the match is moving.Appreciate your thoughtfulness. Pls continue to do so when possible.
By the way, out of curiosity, does 'livescoring' take away your enjoyment of the match?

Thank you for your clear explanation. I was naive. Now I understand. Actually it easier to use the shorter INA rather than the longer degoratory term "Indon" when you're typing furiously away providing livescore. Did it take away my enjoyment of the game? Oh, no I'm more than happy to provide livescore for those of us fanatics who are eager to know how our favourite players are doing. No sweat, cool man :D:D:D

Tjun Tjun are you an Indonesian living in Malaysia or a Malaysian? I would suspect the latter? Am I correct? :p If you're an Indonesian living in Malaysia, then most probably you did not grow up in Indonesia too long.
No Indonesian would call themselves Indons... :p It is not deragotary. It just sounds funny and foreign... :p In elementary school we were all taught how to break the Indonesian word into "suku kata" [word particles], so in this case In-do-ne-si-a... You cannot break it to In-don-e-sia... That's just wrong in our language... :D An innocent mistake, but just wrong...
Outside Indonesia, we would call ourselves "Indo-s" for short in front of our foreign friends... "Kita anak Indo!" [we are Indonesians]
Note: but we will not call ourselves "Indo" that in our own country. "Indo" means eurasian in the Indonesian spoken language.

- in some conversation with Singapore Malay, sometimes they asked : "kamu dari Indon ?" ... (You from Indonesia ?)
anyway, it had better to use INA, MAL, CHN, TPE, JPN, USA, etc. for the future .....

Strange. I've always used the word Indon as a short for Indonesian. Because I've noticed other people use it. It's not supposed to be insulting.
It's just like the word Cina. In Malaysia, the word Cina is commonly used to refer to the Chinese (both race and the country PRC).
But in Indonesia, the word Cina is supposed to be insulting to the Chinese.
I guess it's the same when other parts of the world call us "Malays" rather than "Malaysians", the distinction being "Malay" is a race whereas "Malaysian" is a nationality. There are many Malaysians who are not Malays, and there are also Malays who are not Malaysians.
Whenever others make this mistake without malice, we just have to politely correct them.

Hi Krisna,
Sorry for the late reply. Just came back from dinner with some friends coming from NZ.
I'm a Malaysian. I was totally caught by surprise that Indonesians do not like to be called "Indons". Believe me, I've never heard of this before. KKK and TBH were simply too tough for the Korean pair. TBH smashes were on target! The defence of the Koreans cannot just handle it. Han Sang Hoon, on the other hand, was effective on his XD match against Limpele and Marissa. Tomorrow, they (Koreans) will be facing a tougher Indonesian XD pair of Natsir and Widianto! I hope Han will be physically fit to face this finals XD match.

any professional team and/or any professional athlete will never use the reason of "too tired" for losing a game. they represent their country because they trained hard to earn this. u may have a point that Han may be tired because of the previous XD sf match, thus, affecting his overall performance, but if your thinking that KOR will just "give away" a game for tomorrow's XD final is pointless.
the bottomline is KKK and TBH was the dominant pair during their MD sf match against KOR.

Hi Tjun Tjun,
As I have written before, actually, it is not necessarily insulting to use "Indon"... :) It doesn't mean anything. Neither positive nor negative. It just sounds funny to us Indonesians... He he he... :D
But maybe some of us might be sensitive about a new term, that could/could not be construed as something insulting... [I don't feel insulted at all, in the case of "Indon"] Just sounds wierd... :p
Anyway, if everyone use INA, it is safe to say that will be ok... ;)

Js read through all the posts... Not surprising for me on the KOR XD win... As I noticed HSH is another version of LYD.. Young, Fast & Furious..
INA WS firda is really disppointed .. Always lost to CHN Players.. She looks hopelessly in the 1st game. ZJJ ? Who? 9th or 10th rank CHN players in their team? Even Firda cant beat her easily.. How to expect her to challenge ZN/XXF in the future?
The INA XD pairs advance to final mayb in the bit of Luck.. They avoid meeting top pairs on their path... They might be in real trouble if HSH manage to shows his form as in SF..

Wonder what would happen if Han Sang Hoon is paired with Lee Yong Dae, that would really be explosive MD.
No wonder both players are now also taking XD duty, they are so fit and fast at court coverage. But both of them need is a better female partner to trouble the CHN, ENG and INA top pairs, Hwang Yu Mi is a bit timid in frontcourt and Lee Hyo Jung tend to make simple errors when presented with a chance to kill the shuttle.
