Hi speedie_birdie. Thanks for your interest in our upcoming second badminton club. This new facility will have wooden suspension flooring (similar to our current facility, but an improved version) with Yonex court mats (straight from Japan!). :D Good, bright (but not blinding) lights will be used to ensure adequate visibility. The clear height is 30-32'. We hope you stop by when we open to check it out! Feel free to PM us or post any additional questions you may have.

Thanks for your interest in the status of our new facility. So far, everything is still going as planned! :D The one thing that will ultimately determine our grand opening date is the Yonex mats. Because Yonex is currently very very very busy manufacturing the mats for Olympics 2008, they will need to squeeze in the production of our mats in there. We are expecting to receive the mats sometime in November and that will be the finishing touch. We will definitely keep everyone posted. So check back frequently!

Yes, sorry to break the unfortunate news. The landlord originally said they needed one month to do renovations. However, a few things took longer on their end and they ended up just finishing. We will be getting the key this week, so we can start our renovations. We will open in January 2008, but hopefully sooner! We will post updates here. Thanks for checking in!

It is January 14, 2008 today, any updates on the grand opening? Can't wait to try the new floors...;)

Thanks for checking here. We have been very busy finishing up the final details. We will be open before the end of the month. Grand opening date is still TBD, but we will post it as soon as we decide which day.

The Yonex mats will not be put directly on concrete. We had rolled one of the mats out to check the dimensions and see how it looks. We will have a wooden suspension subfloor just like our Sunnyvale gym and the mats will be laid on top of that.

very nice gym. i am very very impressed especially the color and the lighting.

The new Bintang Gym at Campbell is really good. Lights, court mats, height, floor its all super. ITs really good to have such a nice facility for Badminton in Bayarea. It will add value to promote Badminton in Bayarea/USA. Thanks to Phu/Stella and the bintang team!!!

according to the website, there would be a sale of Yonex products too ..... i wouldn't be able to go but can we buy online though? last weekend, i saw the new yonex shoe (don't know the model name but it was red-white-gold combo with red laces), will this be available? can i buy this online and pick it up when i'm in town?
