Hello everyone!

Maybe the title caught your eye.
And yes, I am angry!!!
Want to know why?

Ok firstly, people shouldn't use my name "yannie" or "Yan Yan" to talk to badminton players!
I hear many players say: "Hey Yan, I got regards from you through someone" or.. "Yan, I got hi from you through this person."
But the truth is, I didn't ask anyone to say hi to any player from me!
I have no respect for those people who keep on misusing my name! Shame on you!
Maybe you have seen my name on the forum, or read some of my posts. But that doesn't give you the right to tell players I say hi.

IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO ANY PLAYER, THERE IS NO NEED TO SAY HI THROUGH ANYBODY.

You don't have to say hi through anybody, just cuz you want to find something to talk with the player! Or you want to get close to him/her.

It's damn annoying! Hope people who do this will stop immediately.

There is no problem in saying hi. But its rude to approach someone and then tell him/her that "Mr A says hi to you". When Mr A didnt ask him to do so. Im sure that person wanted to start a conversation with an individual. But just dont know how.. so he/she resort in using peoples name to do so.
If want to know a person... use a better pickup line or improve on our social skills.

I dont even understand why these people dont have the gut to walk up and say hi themselves. after all these players are just human and nothing more than you and me. (well beside the fact that they play better game than we do.) Honestly many players are really nice and you can just walk up and talk to them. Many of them wont reject you. (remember its many but not all) I talked to few of them and they are super nice. you can walk up and talk to Chan Hong or Xia Xuan Ze and you will find them very easy to talk to. Thats how i become a big fan of XXZ.

If any who say hi by using yannie's name, please try to say hi yourself and you will discover more about the players.

all i can say is, one lie will lead to another and then it will blow up. why lie that you know someone when in fact you dont. using another person's name to get something will eventually make you lose everything. i agree that if you want to know the players and talk to them, then do it just like you would with a new stranger you are trying to befriend. me, i would most probably be too speechless and resort to only smiling and gesturing to the camera or wave. if you have the guts to talk to the players, at least have the guts to do it without using anybody elses name. i hope yannie cools down soon. :)
