As the title, after installing the software, the sqlite error msg pops up quite often.

1) i know i shouldn't do it, but it's kinda easy to cheat and make my players superhuman, maybe incorporate some kinda skill points system where you get points for winning tournaments/getting to certain stages in tournaments, and using those points to boost your skills.

2) how do i delete a tournament i've already played, basically start on a clean slate all over again?

3) is it possible to do a select all players button or perhaps have some way to save an existing selection?

sorry if any of these are already in your FAQ, i'm pretty bad at reading those and kinda like to try these things out myself.

- what sort of training their trainers are good/emphasize on ie. fitness, technique, tactics
- what sort of specialisation are their trainers good in ie. doubles, mixed doubles, singles
- judgement of player ability
- judgement of player potential
- how well they can motivate the players
- influence over players
- level of determination
- level of ambition

Environment
- playing conditions
- playing opportunities
- level of exposure
- level of opponents

Luck
All that is going to be very difficult to summarise into a single distributable skill points system because they aren't mutually exclusive.

Take control your favorite player/pair
- Expend the Player Tree
- Click on the Event, for example Men Singles
- Select your favorite player, double click on it, system will load up the player profile
- Click on Edit button
- In "Control Section", select "User"
- Click on Save button, click on OK button

hey i have a few suggestions..i think u should like get rid of the first round byes and add 4 qualifiers slot and 4 main draws slot..as for the qualifiers slot..do something like..how the superseries is now..the qualifiers have 3 rounds..each qualifiers have an 8 players slot..i find that even with a 64 player(or 56 player) draw is still not enough for me..haha..as im trying to add more and more players to the players list..but ofcoz this is just a suggestion..and if possible..do add something like..when ur selecting players for the draws..include something that will count the numbers of empty slot i still have left..thx..

You just need to download bcm13.exe and Microsoft DotNet Framework 2.0

Badminton Championship Manager Version 2.0 (PC Game) now support Thomas Cup and Uber Cup !!!

Guess what, you can now take over Li Yong Bo/Yap Kim Hock/PBSI role,
In the game, you allow to pick your favourite country, select your team players, and of course, the most challenging is you can plan your own lineup for each match.

Note: Version 2.0 is not compatible with previous version. For better Thomas/Cup simulation, you may want to play some individual tournaments (to accumulate some ranking points) first, which later will affect the lineup in the team events.

Actually u know is good with Sudirman Cup and also some other continental championship like Asian and European championship....My critics is that after the 1st day of match, u have to select live in the 2nd day it doesn't do it automatically.....

Actually there is not special rule to handle fixed players like Lin Dan, Chen Yu etc, all players go thru the same matrix-logic-engine during the match...

Rite maybe something like the instruct players to attack a certain part of the opponent...like during doubles maybe the coach can ask one to just attack particular players....but maybe that would just complicate things further hehehehe

Yes, the picture must be 126x145 pixel in jpg format. when you edit the player, you can upload the picture.

Just started from a fresh database playing the Malaysian Open and now I do indeed have the same "problem" with the 2nd day the user's players is set to auto. Maybe it only "works" correctly in the Thomas Cup (and probably Uber then too)?

How do you upload the picture? Just drag it onto it? There's no ... erm. choose file etc. window...

Sorry it does work on windows vista....however it says cannot run memory full or something like that...I mean the installation process is fine but I can't start any tournaments or create new players so is as good as not being able to play

Suggestions to improve gameplay...

Having special abilities for some players that can be implemented once per match or something for the player controlled.
E.g. Lin Dan can have a skill that allows him to have a percentage increase in scoring rate with smashes but at the expensive of losing stamina quicker maybe.

Or LCW can have a skill which is able to let him regain 20% stamina for clutch performance.... Just suggestions that can add new dimensions to the game.

Hi d65up2, the error is due to your vista configuration, for some reason, the bcm folder only allow read access only, so when you add a new tournament, the system try to save it to the bcm.db file which fail cause don't have write access.

thing you can try :
Turn off User Account Control (UAC)
- [Control Panel] [User Accounts]
- Click on "Turn User Account Control on or off"
- Uncheck "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer"
- Click on OK

and install bcm20.exe as Administrator:
right click bcm20.exe, and click run as Administrator.

Hey bcmmgr can you also adjust the issue of not having enough smash winners in the statistics... also could you add how many rallies are being played?

It's weird to have such low amounts of smash winners and high amounts of net winners, clear winners and other winners....

Can you add player form? and Head to Head ratios? Amount of rallies etc...
Match duration, and if players have long matches or plays a lot of tournaments in a row, they have less stamina due to fatigue...
Also add mental strength, and power IMHO... Like you have serves and netshot, should have smashes and defence.

Please implement as it will add a whole lot of fun.
