where are the seeds and draws?

By this time, less than 2 weeks before the wc, we still don't know where are the seeds entry lists and draws.

Even a regular open tournament, the seeds and draws should have been made official and public by now. Seeds list should be available 3 weeks ahead, and draws should be available 2 weeks ahead. But now less than 2 weeks left (WC starts on Monday, even 1 day earlier than open tournaments), there is nothing about WC's seeds and draws.

Cannot imagine that the World Championship is not prepared as well as any regular tournament. They don't have money to give players for their work, and do they have money and a little respect to do the organization job?

Last year event, the seeding report released in BWF website several hours before the drawing appears at same day. Don't know if the seeding report will be out one day earlier for this time edition. So far the latest WR (02/08/07) to determine seeding position has not updated yet.

The are specific rules - see BWF regs. You can get notional points with previous partners (if new pairing up to 2 or 3 tournaments I think) and scaled up points up to 7-8 tournaments (I think). This is not random process.

But have to account for national separation rule right? e.g. if seed 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 from same country, then the 2nd ranked national player must occupy quarter in opposite half of draw. This means that Chen Jin will be in LCW's half unless of course this rule is not applied as 3/4 seed in MS are both China reps in this WC. Rule should apply though as MAS fan I think BCL is easier for a resurgent LCW to handle than CJ based on past records.
