No. No matter how many times LYB thinks, the results are the same.

Please read my previous post. It was China sports general administration bureau (LYB's boss' boss' boss) who was disappointed on China WD results from China master and Philippines opens.

Even though YW was reluctant at beginning to switch to Zhao Tingting, but YW is also not happy to go back with ZJW either, because she complained that first more than 5 month no training made ZJW bad form, second, more important, from May 1st, YW/ZTT has been leading in the Olympic points in the world, while YW/ZJW's point is zero.

Anyway, this arrangement is just to please the general administration bureau, everybody except ZJW is expecting the collapse of this pair. So guys, don't expect to much.

You've made a good point here 2cent yet I might not be able to totally agree with you here. Like what you've mentioned it might be a bit difficult to Yang and Zhang to play together again since they've not played together for quite some time, but Zhang is not totally without training as far as I know. She's been playing with Gao Ling in a few tournaments. Also, for a pair who's played with each other for such a long time, I have confidence that Yang and Zhang could be able to make a strong WD team again. At least, hopefully, they'd be able to beat most of the non-chinese pairs.

Like Zhang Ning, who's literally not played at all for a month, could still pick up the racquet and play at a high level, all because of her previous (many mant) years of playing and training.

And may I ask where did you learn that Yang wasn't happy with the coming back of the Yang/Zhang pair? I've been following the badminton news in some chinese websites as well, and would love to know from which source you've drawn the info, so that I can catch up with the latest news as well :)

Pokla, there is no doubt that ZJW is still at very high level. Those two reasons were cited from what YW said. The fact is that she said that, and it is also a valid reason.

She also mentioned the 2nd reason, I also said "more important reason", is that they don't have any Olympic ranking points yet.

Here is the 3rd reason which YW not dare to say, since it's against coaches wills, and they will not have any good result under current coaches. As you also said, they may still better than non-Chinese pairs, but this is not good enough. Only 3 pairs can go to the Olympics while now China has 4 strong pairs. One of them must be abandoned before the Olympics. If YW still teams with ZTT, she has the best chance in 4 pairs (most ranking points and also coaches' favorites), but if she teams with ZJW, they will be the most likely the one cannot go to Olympics.

Zhang Jie Wen/Yang Wei won the semi final, i watched the match...Zhang contributed more that Yang for the win. Zhang really playing more dedicative than Yang. Yang seemed din run so much to reply smash from YaWen/Wei.

Yang Wei maybe not in her best form, and it seems Zhang Jiewen is not yet in her best. But they proved it that they can reach final of WC!!!

Even if they are not win, they have made something really good. They have not been together since few months ago, but they are indeed still very good.

If they are in top form I am sure they can beat GL/HS.

I think GL is a bit exhausted playing in XD and MD and HS is not yet in her best form. So the chance for ZJW/YW is still very possible to win the WC. Blimey......what a good achievement for them.....

ZJW and YW won the WD final, they both play very well. I can see them play the game while smilling, i think they dun have any burden/pressure hunting them, hence even thought, most of the time CL and WS were ahead, but they still can chase back the score, and winning the final. Another thing is that, Jie Wen defense was improved, as she can replied most of WS smashes, which are very sharp and heavy, cause i heard WS scream out loud when she smashed, YW front net play is very good also. Well done Zhang Jie Wen and Yang Wei. We will see what will LYB say...:)

Yes, my bro and my favourite WD Yang Wei/Zhang Jie Wen won the WC title for second time. Stopping someone from grabbing the title for the third forth consecutive times. Message to the notorious LYB, if u happen to read this, don't ever try to seperate Yang Wei from Zhang Jie Wen. They strictly belong to each other. Only Death can tear them apart. (CTF's must be jumping up and down now.)

I noticed something very funny: YangW/ZhangJW didn't communicate during their SF match but they still won it. Today's final, they were constantly encouraging each other while smiling throughout the whole match & they won it in straight sets.

It shows one thing: They can still win big tournaments & ZhangJW definitely makes a much better partnership with Yang than Zhao TT.

I am so moved by their story. This will be a great history for WD written by Zhang Jiewen. I do fully support Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen for their struggling and fighting spirit. Jia You!!!!!

Yes they are the best. Even in the junior world champ, Zhang Jiewen was paired up with Xie Xingfang and they beat Huang Sui/Gong Ruina. And Yang Wei was Gao Ling's first partner when they were still juniors.
And remember that Yang Wei together with Huang Nanyan (my previous fave) is the only couple that can beat Ge Fei Gu Jun during their golden era.
I dun see something special with Zhao Tingting. Why dun pair her with Zhang Dan? I feel sad with Zhang Dan also, previously Zhang Yawen and Zhang Dan always can beat Wei Yili and Zhao Tingting. But then LYB split them up and pair WYL with ZYW. And now Zhang Dan disappeared.

One more thing I dun like the manly look of Du Jing/Yu Yang. I thot they are guys. This pair got special support as they came from the same province as LYB.

Yes, she do not know English, I am quite sure about this. In China, players like GaoLing are selected and trained in the province and national team when they were very young(some of them even do not get a chance to finish their elementary school courses). Therefore, most of them do not know English. Gaoling is very nice in fact, Hope you can understand her "arrogance":)

and also she was with another young girl, and that young girl can understand what i want, she gave signal to GL. That time I saw Zhao Tingting also, but she was at the fitting room and she look nicer than GL.

WYL partnered with ZTT before re-joining ZYW. Before that, WYL and ZJW were partners together.

I don't care abuout the politics in the CHN badminton team, I care less how well YW/ZTT did in the last few months. The only reason I don't like ZTT is, she looks miserable all the time, that expression when her partner made a mistakes. I got this feeling since she was paired with CQQ in XDouble.

Most of all, YW/ZJW are cheering, smiling and communicating with each other. This is really important to win any title, cause you got to enjoy the game to win it.
