Erm..I don think so..did he met TH b4??:rolleyes::rolleyes:If he defeated TH b4,I think he maybe can create upset in WC..but it's very tough for him to beat players like TH,LD n LCW..:o:)

that sounds like WACHA will lose to KJ in the 3rd round and wont create upset in tis WC.. but we must remember.... UNDERDOG always got some advantage........

However nearly 50 per cent for Wacha to win vs KJ in WC. In this case he probably unfortunately will lose in the next match vs BCL...

Very apt remark! So - logically - Wacha should be the most dangerous in the final vs LCW:)

Then we have the most celebrated champion of all time!!!:D:D:D

..our bananaboy is an ardent fan of Peter Gade..sooo..;)

I just respect Peter Gade's love of the sport and I like his playing style(pre/post injury:p).

Along with Gade, my favorite players are actually Lee Dong Soo of Korea(footwork+drop shots), and Fu HaiFeng of China(just for the smash).:D

OHHH... Did I forget to say "WACHA!!!!!!!!!" He is one heck of a player to make such an impact considering he does not have quality sparring partner in his country, and yet he is capable of playing good!!!!:cool:

It is not about Wacha's style, but just because he is WACHA!!!!!!! LOL...

Seriously, you gotta respect him for his work, just imagine playing badminton in Poland where basically training quality is pretty no match compare to "badminton-popular" Asian countries. Yet he is capable of making an impact... that's something special and most people don't realize it.

Yep! The reason I feel that Wacha may have nothing more than his 15-minute fame in China Masters is that he reminded me of INA player Jeffer Rosobin. Jeffer came from no where to beg Brunei Open crown in 1997 (?), which was then a 5* event ... and nothing else prominent happened since then. He recently returned to international badminton scene but someone on this board mistaken that he was a newcomer!

Haha.. Now I finally know how Wacha be able to win in the final. Yes, bananaboy got it right this time... The opponent takes the 1st & is leading the 2nd when suddenly he injured his right hip while making jumping smash...Wacha takes the 2nd set & finishes the 3rd with 21-0.. Wacha now the new world champion... Wacha won it just like Peter Rasmussen did in 1997.:D

Badminton is not very popular in Poland. So his success unfortunately will be not a big news in POL. But really could help to promote badminton in the homeland of Wacha.

According to Polish coach (she said it yesterday), "Wacha in the 1st&2nd round should have no problems. The level of Ville Lang, Simon Manoury or Klaus Raffeiner is not enough to surprise Przemek. The Dane KJ will be his first dangerous rival. In spite of KJ's better head2head result, Wacha is in such form that he has the chances to win".

Exactly so! The mistakes are very often. There was a little scandal in Poland because the President of the state travelled one day with the Polish flag upside down.
The flag of Monaco is similar, so INA fans should cheer also badminton players from the Duchy of Monaco:)!

its not up to the UN to decide what countries can have what flags. Each countries can choose whatever flag they like as their most important national symbol. After the establishment of the country, then only the country will think of joining international bodies such as the UN, who have no right to disallow a sovereign nation to have certain flags.
