Especially: Denmark Open, November 2006 10:21 21:18 25:23; AE, March 2007 21:14 21:17. Bao-Wacha 2:0. AE, March 2005 15:7 15:4; IO, June 2006 21:11 21:11. However nearly 50 per cent for Wacha to win vs KJ in WC. In this case he probably unfortunately will lose in the next match vs BCL... samuel882 08-04-2007, 12:26 PM A bit of history... Head2head. Maybe I should start a thread asking " Who possibly have any chance of stopping Wacha from winning".:p Perhaps nobody could come up with an answer at all. Let me tell you in advance what will happen this year... Wacha will take out his 1st and 2nd round opponents with ease in 2 sets, then he will defeat KJ, then he will defeat LD in 2 sets(score 30-29, 30-29, and LD realizes that his main opponent is no longer TH or LCW, but Wacha), then Wacha will defeat Bao in a thrilling 3 sets, and eventually Wacha will defeat Peter Gade in the final in an extremely close match. Along with Gade, my favorite players are actually Lee Dong Soo of Korea(footwork+drop shots), and Fu HaiFeng of China(just for the smash).:D OHHH... Did I forget to say "WACHA!!!!!!!!!" He is one heck of a player to make such an impact considering he does not have quality sparring partner in his country, and yet he is capable of playing good!!!! samuel882 08-06-2007, 10:21 AM How does the playing style of this Wacha?? Drop/Fast/Smashing or good nets play? bananaboy 08-06-2007, 10:24 AM No thanks.. It will be too hard to be true :D It is just as hard to be true as everyone else's "prediction" anyways:p Or is it just that it will be disappointing for all your countrymen to see an all European final.:D bananaboy 08-06-2007, 10:29 AM How does the playing style of this Wacha?? Drop/Fast/Smashing or good nets play? It is not about Wacha's style, but just because he is WACHA!!!!!!! LOL... Seriously, you gotta respect him for his work, just imagine playing badminton in Poland where basically training quality is pretty no match compare to "badminton-popular" Asian countries. Yet he is capable of making an impact... that's something special and most people don't realize it. Inky2000 08-06-2007, 10:34 AM My gut feeling is that Wacha has already gotten his 15-minute fame during China Masters ... samuel882 08-06-2007, 10:37 AM It is just as hard to be true as everyone else's "prediction" anyways:p Or is it just that it will be disappointing for all your countrymen to see an all European final.:D It also will be a bIG letdown for ASIA Badminton History.. bananaboy 08-06-2007, 10:37 AM My gut feeling is that Wacha has already gotten his 15-minute fame during China Masters ... How could it be a big let-down if the better player wins a tournament, when everything is supposed to be fair and square??? Didn't Peter. R from Denmark won WC in 1997? It will be totally insane :D:D Yep! The reason I feel that Wacha may have nothing more than his 15-minute fame in China Masters is that he reminded me of INA player Jeffer Rosobin. Jeffer came from no where to beg Brunei Open crown in 1997 (?), which was then a 5* event ... and nothing else prominent happened since then. He recently returned to international badminton scene but someone on this board mistaken that he was a newcomer! bananaboy 08-06-2007, 11:00 AM From the past history of WC.. The Dane KJ will be his first dangerous rival. In spite of KJ's better head2head result, Wacha is in such form that he has the chances to win". cooler 08-07-2007, 06:06 PM I just notice that INA fans can cheer for wacha too, all they need to do is turn the INA flag upside down:p:D ie. you fans be careful how u wave your flag:p samuel882 08-07-2007, 06:25 PM I just notice that INA fans can cheer for wacha too, all they need to do is turn the INA flag upside down:p:D ie. you fans be careful how u wave your flag:p Haha..
