1. Yonex Carbonex 30 Muscle 2U-G4, 5120752 - 230842JP. Currently strung with BG80 at 25x27.5lbs (probably down to about 24 now). This racket is about 95% mint. There is one small paint chip (sesame seed size) at about 11 O'clock; original grip has been replaced. Buyer will receive the racket, bag, and warranty card.

2. Yonex Armortec 700 3U-G4, 5647853 - 140756JP (old color). This racket is 100% mint; no chips, scratches, or dents. It has never been strung and the original plastic wrap is still on the handle. Buyer will receive the racket, bag, warranty card, and a pack of BG80.

These are genuine Yonex rackets which I purchased at Shuttle-house. If the buyer wishes, I will string racket #2 up to a max of 25x27.5lbs with the pack of BG80 shown. Asking $80 US for #1, $150 US for #2.

Shipping: Shipping is availible to the United States and to Canada.
USA - $10 US, Canada - $15 US. Canada buyers are responsible for paying duties, if applicable. Packages shipped to Canada will be marked as "merchandise" with the true sale price listed for "value".

Insurance: Optional for USA buyers; please add $5 US for insurance if you want it. Not availible for Canada.

Payment: US currency only please. I'm sorry, but I'm not a Paypal user. Payment in the form of a check or money order is fine. Not looking for trades at this point, unless you have a good condition (+90% mint) Carbonex 20 Long in 2U-G4 :D ....

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions and I will respond ASAP.

I will be giving up badminton when my arms fall off :p.

These aren't rackets I use; the AT700 I'm selling here was just a backup racket in case my other one (which you now have ;) ) broke. The MP-100 (and similar rackets) are my rackets of choice now, so I am offering the others here on BC.

I have noticed that using rackets that are too different from each other make it harder for me to be consistent with my shots. I know some folks out there own a wide range of rackets, and can use them all with a high level of proficiency. For me, this is not the case. Anyway, want to make me an offer? :p

I am getting a RQiS1 when it comes out early next year. Anyone want to pre order? And no, it is not a badminton racquet.

This is pretty much the case, except for the fact that racket 2 is availible. For those who are curious, below is what transpired.

To Andy (aka Yoyomonkey) (I wrote this part after he backed out after saying he would send a check)

I honestly hope that you are not serious about backing out of this deal since you have already agreed to buy the racket. I have already done several things for you and spent my time and energy answering your questions and repeating things for you.

Over the course of the past several days you have sent me seven correspondences. In the first correspondence dated 8-5-07 4:30pm, you ask:

is there any way that u can take paypal? i'm in iowa, usa

Per the terms listed in my sale thread, I say no and explain the other methods of payment accept.

In the second correspondence dated 8-8-2007 3:36pm you ask:

do you have any reference? Do you have any more at700 JP?

I respond by asking for clarification of "reference" and let you know that I do not have any more AT700 JP availible.

In your third correspondence dated 8-8-2007 4:20pm you clarify the meaning of reference:

like feedback from other buyer?

I have conducted several transactions on BC in the past with several different individuals. I suggest to you that you do a search on BC for my previous posts. If after that you still have concerns or questions, I asked that you please come to me with those questions.

I assume you did a search and were satisfied with the results because in your fourth correspondence dated 8-8-2007 6:50pm you make the the offer:

how would you feel about $145 shipped. I'm in Iowa 52240

I respond that this is acceptable and I attempt to confirm (per the terms listed in my sale thread) if you want the racket strung. If not, I explain, I will simply include the pack of BG80 with the racket.

In you fifth correspondence dated 8-9-2007 9:07 am you respond with:

I'm interest, but i realize that i have too many rackets already. Would you be interest in trading for a 2u g5 ti-10 old color for $100 and i will pay you $45. If not that's okay. Do you take personal check?

How much do you charge for stringing?

I respond by letting you know that I am not interested in a Ti-10 at this point as I have too many rackets and I remind you that (per the terms of my sale thread) stringing is free.

In your sixth correspondance dated 8-9-2007 12:08pm you say:

I'll send the check tomorrow. Thanks

You do not specify if you want the racket strung or not so I ask again if you would like your racket strung.

In your seventh correspondance dated 8-9-2007 9:13pm you say:

Actually i have been thinking. I can't believe i'm saying this but I don't think i should get this racket. I already have too many and i'm not sure when i will finish using all of them. So i'm going to pass on this deal, i'm sure you won't have any problem selling this JP racket. Again, i'm sorry for any problems this might cause.

Andy

So... lets review.. at this point I have answered all of your PMs. I have reduced (at your request) the cost of the racket. I have spent a considerable amount of my time trying to help make this deal acceptable for you. I have even TURNED DOWN other buyers after you said you would purchase the racket. It is a hassle and inconsiderate to them for me to re-offer the racket to them after I told them no. And now, in your latest PM, you try to go back on your word.

I want to make it clear (if I have not already done so) that I am very irritated by your "monkeying" around. I do not wish for ANY BC member (or anyone else for that matter) to go through anything remotely similar to what you have put me through. Therefore, if you do not send payment as you have agreed to, I will be posting our correspondence here BC in order to warn others of your "behavior". I am very serious about this. I AM open to discussion and reason. If something serious has happened to you or a family member and you need the money, I will understand and I formaly retract what I have said here and I apologize to you. However, this does not seem to be the case as described in your last PM dated 8-9-2007 9:13pm:

Actually i have been thinking. I can't believe i'm saying this but I don't think i should get this racket. I already have too many and i'm not sure when i will finish using all of them. So i'm going to pass on this deal, i'm sure you won't have any problem selling this JP racket. Again, i'm sorry for any problems this might cause.

Andy

Please explain to me.

Anyway, his response was:

My rackets from shuttle-house went through, 6 of them, in addition to the 5 i already have. They just show up, no email or anything, that's why i ask you to trade for ti-10; I know that's not good reason. It's only been 1-2 days top; i'm not sure how many potential buyers you have lost. I'm not sure why you making such a big deal out of this and wasted your time and go through all the PMs. You have not lost anything, just time to answer PM probably less than this long message, but that's part of the selling process. I'm a honest person, I'm not going to make up bs about financial problem or let you wait indefinitely for money to arrive. Again, i apologizes for any problems.

Your apology is accepted and I beleive you are an honest person, however, I must suggest to you that when buying or selling online, that you read more closely and think harder before you make a decision. It will spare you and the other party time and energy. I also apologize to anyone that read this and took offense and to BC if this violated any rules. (If I broke any rules, please take whatever action you deem appropriate).

Racket 1 is sold pending funds.
Racket 2 is not availible at this time.

maybe yoyomonkey doesn't know what he really wants on many things and it can be really hard for him to make any decision. sure it's irritating and somewhat offensive, but try to forgive him, not for the alibi he gave but for the fact he is suffering from the inner battle between insecurity and temptation.

btw, i think it's not quite appropriate to post other's private message on public discussion boards.
