Recently come across this racket its a Yonex AT700 I have had several people look at it the serials seem genuine they are laser etched(I know this means nothing) but there are a few things that dont add up

serial says it was made in 2001 but I thought the AT700 didnt come out untill 2003?

the weight says 2U G3 26-28lb 8-9KG ..but I didnt think they made a 2U and for a G3 grip it feels thin ? weighing it my against my 3U G3 NS800 it feels light also and 26-28ib seems excessive too anyway going to include some pics if I can

thanks

based on my visual inspection it's 100% fake, the PSBI logo is a little blurry, the serial is there, but the font & size is all wrong. Also, the sticker as you said yourself is not supposed to look like that either. One final check, could you take a picture of the green yonex handle cap? If my intuition is correct, the font is probably fake as well but I'm interested to see if fakes have gone that far (I've yet to see an authentic looking green cap on a fake racquet).

That is 100% fake, just look at the paintjob of the head...the sticker for the recommended tension isn't even the usual yonex sticker -.-
