Hi sin2kilda,
Yes I know Dr Iggy Gan from Wollongong.
I must get in touch with him... to congratulate him for winning 3 Gold medals in the Australian Masters 2007 in Adelaide. :):):)
I have great respect for Dr Iggy Gan. He is a true gentleman, a very sporting person and a great champion.
Did you know he still hold the record in Wollongong? ... He was Wollongong's Champion for 11 consecutive years, if I remember correctly.
Regrettably, it was I who prevented him from carrying on with his run of successive championships. :o:o:o The Championship Display Board in Wollongong tells the story.
When I beat him, I thought he might retire from competitive Badminton. But from your post, I am glad he is still playing and continuing competitively with our beloved sport. :):):)
