It will be interesting to see Arif Latif(Zakry's younger brother) to play against our veteran WCH.For me, it will be a good fight as Arif is a talented young player whom has been groom for our future national player.He has skills as he proved on the Singapore Satellite when he beaten our back-up players and project 2010. I believe that they have 50-50 battle.The most importantly for me,it's not the winner but to see both of their achievements as well as others players. It is a good warm up before Japan Open.

In Suka Menanti, near the new court complex. From the northern toll, just head straight....at the fourth 4th traffic light, turn right...should see the KBA Hall after less than 5 minutes.

ants is very right about beryno at the moment. He needs to mature his game and temperament if he ever dreams of moving up in results.

Don't praise CKB so much yet. No doubt he is a good player. But young players are proned to have outside influence that may cause them to be out of focus. He is a good boy. But i can see that he has the desire. He can be amongst the caliber of LCW or even better if he just keep walking that success line.

Indeed I am a proud Malaysian supporter who are there during ups and downs.For me, Kedah Open is a platform that will embark greater exposure to my juniors to play against their seniors. I believe this will help my juniors to produce better results in their tournament. As for my seniors, it is just warm-up before important big event. It is good to see that juniors are giving seniors a run for the money.

Actually it is not Jawa name, it is just my short name. Thank you for your reply. Arif and Tan Chung Seang have greater chance to prove that they are the best singles players that will take up LCW and Hafiz place once the times come.I have undergone ups and downs with them and eventually I want to see them improved in every tournament that they played.Not only them but to rest of my juniors squad.They are my seeds that will produce my the strongest and healthy trees that will bear fruits.As the sisters to them,I always stood strong behind them.

From the start i never see success through their partnership. They both Good in defense.. But never play brilliantly in offensive game.. REXY make a big mistake to choose them pairing up together. :mad:

Kedah Open is part of National Circuit or National GP (correct me if I'm wrong) If i'm not mistaken, in a year period, there will be two State Opens and one National GP Final.

Prize money..i remember KBH won Melaka Open last year..he won RM4000. (Thats like around USD1100++)

I don't think that the organisers of our Kedah Open want to restrict it as an event for Malaysian players only.

Usually, organisers of events consider their events under the following categories;

Closed = Only for members affiliated with their associations.
Invitation = Only for players invited by their associations.
Open = For any players, but perhaps, only for BWF registered members.

But I could be wrong about our Kedah Open. :):):)

Sumatra Circuit, Jakarta Circuit, West Java Circuit [sponsored by SGS Elektrik, Taufik Hidayat's club], Central Java [otherwise known as Sinar Mutiara Cup], Sulawesi, East Java [sponsored by Jawa Pos GG] had already passed this year.

This weekend they are wrapping out the 7th leg of the Circuit, which is the Kalimantan Circuit. Pontianak, the capital of West Kalimantan is the chosen venue for Kalimantan Circuit this year.... :) The 8th [and last one this year] will be the East Indonesian Circuit next month. Bali is the venue for that one...

Later in the year, as the grand finale, we have the INA National Championship. But unlike MAS, our current top players like Taufik, and Sony etc. seldom play in the Circuits and National Championships... :o

LCW really has no challenge in M'sia as he is M'sia number 1. I hope that this will spur LCW into greater heights in his next tournament in Japan Open. I hope that LCW will regain his winning touch again. It is nice to see KKK and TBH win against the veteran.By wining it, I hope that they have find their right touch that made them champion.

As a professional player.... losing with such a scoreline is still not acceptable even if you're going to cite fatigue as an excuse.:o
