Low cost effective badminton Court design

We are redoing the court in our club.

I am finding it difficult to find a good design of the floor structure to give best cushioning effect while playing.

Any ideas

I'm particular curious as to how to measured the boundary lines and the material you chose for those lines.

Oh! but is is not complicated. Imagine that all the measurements are actually the OUTER limits of the court INCLUSIVE of the width of the lines (about 40mm) Start with the one long side, then one small side and then the DIAGONAL so that u are sure of the perpendicularity.

The lines are painted using simple paint of many types. Btw if u use cotton strings imbibed with paint (or chalk) U can draw the lines straight and quicker.

Hi, try this guy at that Company. I assure U that the product is good. Once U open the website and chkd out pm me or just post here again. Iv been using the floor for 2 years now. Easy to clean, slip proof and excellent cushion.:D Good Luck.

Could you please mail me link of any website who will provide guidelines about the civil works of an outdoor badminton court?( Detailed drawing of the concrete flooring), I have checked it in all search engines but couldn't find a good site giving detailed instructions. :crying:

U won't get anything. Badminton is like the poor orphan of sports......
Much details to b found on the web. I'll look up my files and get back to u.
One advice: whatever u do do NOT play on pure concrete floor. In the long run not good for your knees and ankles.
