I need to use my motorbike to travel to matches & tournaments and will have rackets, change of clothes, water etc in my bag. I am looking for something that will allow me to carry rackets across my back & a few other things too. My motorbike does have a luggage box, but its not that big and too small for the rackets.
Can anyone recommend a bag that will fit snugly, my current bag Yonex 7246 has back straps, but it seriously affects my visibility & balance.

Have you considered badminton backpacks? I use one with the Chao Pai brand, but there are others from Yonex and RSL, too.

don't do it. i doubt spine protectors will hold up at all against a few racquets that are laid out across your back.
i've seen a couple people try it, and i just shake my head every time i see it.
its just plain dangerous. it doesn't matter how you land on the ground if anything happens. the racquets will kill you.

what about strapping on another box type object and cutting a hole for a racquet sleeve?

It look like a guitar bag to me :P

The backpacks I was referring to have a pocket for the racket, with or without the racket case, located at the front of the bag, not against the back of the wearer.

I tried it out yesterday with a small Yonex bag for 3 rackets, but the rackets were too long and caught on the back of my helmet and restricted the movement of my head (I stopped and adjusted it so it was sideways across my back - but thats not ideal either). So I am now looking into a way to strap the rackets to the back of the motorbike where the box should go, and carry the rest of my gear (the soft stuff) on my back. Thanks for your suggestions anyway..

I used to use a backpack type when I was on my motorcycle. The sling types are too dangerous with heavy loads since when you lean the bag moves around a lot.
If you can somehow mount the rackets to the back like you said, it might be better. Or just carry less stuff.
