At last,TBH/KKK won...Two Mas MD sail to the next round..China MD is unlucky too, left FHY/CY as all of the other three pairs lose and GZD/XZB lose to Cai/Fu...
Tomorrow might be the turn of INA MD ?:rolleyes::D:D

Based on the score. BP vs Bao should be the match of the day.
Hopes those in Tokyo can clarifying this :)

Also based on their playing styles (and overall skill-level), would tell me it likely was some great badminton being played :D
Only match which I suspect could be as good, would be the clash TH against CH..

Yes, that's wat I thought. But shouldnt SBA prioritize the youngsters(doubles players) to gain more exposure for the upcoming SEA Games? I'm sure there are plenty of good + talented young double players in SG. Just give them a chance... :)

Why was BP vs BCL not a thriller?

Why was BP vs BCL not a thriller?
Because the match wasn't that close except for the 3rd set. Besides, it's not really surprising for Boonsak to win.:)
Boonsak has been going thru a special training regiment in Bangkok. He did well the few tournaments lately. I'm not suprised if he can be a medal contender in the Olympic next year.
Very unlikely because I play squash and am pretty fit !:D
A fitter sports person plays badminton. Squash is easier on fitness, I'll say. So change back to badminton to show us you're fit! :D;)

Absolutely agree... Boonsak is a dark house in every tourneys, and this JO is no difference :p I heard he was trained in Fujian, and dats why he was able to beat CHN players.

If he went all the way to win his second SS title for this year here in Japan. He will not be rated as Dark Horse from now on ;)

After Boonsak winning SG Open, he went to Indo and CHN Open as low seeded player (or non-seeded player). So I considered him as dark horse even he won SG Open. Lets see how he fares in JO... :)

Looking at the match stats,I realised the match was not pretty; very error strewn esp. BCL in G3. Well, it's likely BP let go of the G2 and let BCL have a smashing time to tire him out for G3.
But what do you mean by 'not really surprising for Boonsak to win'? Is BP superior in play? In what ways? The stats suggest Boonsak won with some luck.
Anyone knows of BP 's head to head with SS?

they did very very well.. i meant the singaporeans.. haven seen any major breakthrough by singorean badminton except ronald.. but he is still an indonesian born... :D
But Ronald is made in Singapore lor. Indonesia did not make him to be the top player he is today. At a young age , he went to Singapore to study and then play professional badminton. So, you cannot deny Singapore the credit.

Boonsak is now full of confidence. He won the title in the universiade game a few months ago. A week before the JO, He won another title in the biggest event in his country (2007 Thailand All Championships) for the 7th times in his career.
