He's probably getting paid well to teach badminton in Japan. Nice to know that other brands such as Mizuno to support him and other players.

If we look at a bigger picture and for the general good of badminton development - this is a very positive sign!
I fully support this.

Its not shameful at all. We should be proud that they are promoting the game at international level and people recognise their contribution.

I agree, I'm sure in China, he has very high-level students, but if a person loves the game that much, they get involved in every way, even teaching beginner badminton. Besides, what aspiring (perhaps future Olympian) child wouldn't love to be taught by a legend? And perhaps a better question, what legend wouldn't love to have taught an aspiring pupil?

Zhao Jianhua is a Canadian treasure? :D No lah, I think 6 woods in Chinese... ;)
However, if China considers Zhao a treasure... er... they sure don't treat him like a treasure today... If Chinese companies/government pays the same amount of $$$ for him to do the same thing in China, I think Zhao will help kids learn badminton in China... The fact that he is doing this in Japan is probably because nobody treats him like a treasure back home, eh?

He is my all-time favorite player and in my opinion, the best player. The one game he beat the whack out of Joko will forever defined his stardom and impressed me as the best baddy game I have ever seen...todate.
Sadly, even if JZH trains me one on one, even if I could afford to pay him, I think he will shake his head and said, OneToughBirdie, sorry nothing can improve your game and you should not quit your daytime job anytime soon, you should concentrate on playing badminton on a social level...hehehe!!! LOL!!:D:D

I was just kidding about keeping the treasure to just some group. The reason I state that cause when you look at all the top line item.. Like strings (NBG95 not for other markets for a year, and now the NBG98)
They only availabe in Japan ! They are the one keeping all the good stuff for themself!
Since China got so many treasures ...
One or two for exporting won't hurt..
As like Panda's they can always be rented for a cost !

i am quite shocked to see such hatred and racism in this thread. hatred and racism is something that we do not allow here in BC so offending posts have been deleted and this thread locked.
