An interesting match is in store for us.
I think both players are fired up and motivated for this match. For once, Taufik is not facing Lin Dan in the Final, so, he know that he CAN WIN this one. Nevertheless, LCW is on a high after beating Chen Jin and Lin Dan in a row.

I will lean towards Taufik Hidayat to win his first Super Series title (and what a title it will be) of the year and show to the rest of the world that he still has that something in him to win the big ones.

agree - the olympics are a long way away and a lot of badminton has to be played in the run up to beijing

but if we were to look at contenders for the gold at this point in time with the given pool of players, their results this year and have to take a call(crystal gaze in a way with current facts) LCW is definetly in the running.

the WC did throw up interesting results and players like Sony/Anup etc did well but when it comes down to taking titles at major tourneys this year LCW and LD are definitely in the top rug...

LCW has already achieved his target by going thru QF, so I would say that he has nothing to lose. Like some one you had pointed out earlier, both TH and LCW are winners regardless of the result. But for us, we definitely hope to see the battle of the titans to the limit and to see their full potential in this finals :D.

against LD yesterday, I believe LCW was playing using Roslin Hashim style which is long rally. Look at what RH did to LD in 2nd set. He managed to get 1 set vs world no1. Maybe Misbun gets da point to beat LD and ask LCW to play that style and LD unmanaged to play that kind of style .. :P .. I think so .. :P .
