(1) Chen Hong vs Taufik Hidayat - Taufik looks determined and desperately need to get his first Super Series of the year. A rematch of the Japan Open 1st round. Take Taufik in 3 sets.

(2) Lee Hyun Ill vs Shoji Sato - Great to see Hyun Ill to get back to his game. The Korean to prevail in straight sets over the Japanese.

(3) Wong Choon Hann vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - Both needs to get into the top eight. The younger opponent should get thru in 2 tight sets.

(4) Simon Santoso vs Lee Chong Wei - Chong Wei is in great form so far and so is Simon. A real test for Chong Wei but the MAS should be able to pull it off in straight sets.
