wuldup 09-30-2007, 04:13 AM For those don't believe what I SAW. hahaha
Some say it's fake, some say new model but nothing is sure. I found this bag in malaysia and they say this bag is discontinue as soon as sunrise started to produce. WHAT THE HELL. So, if anyone knows anything about this bag~ reply.35517

drifit 09-30-2007, 05:24 AM check out that code....:eek::eek:
sunr = sunrise.....:D
i dont think this bag is official release by yonex. maybe sunrise made/produced it and marketed at certain region only....:)
Blurry D 09-30-2007, 05:28 AM now thats a huge bag!!!
no idea if it is real or not , but i am sure someone will shed some light!!
phandrew 09-30-2007, 05:30 AM that bag looks like a mix of the 2424-9 and 9624-9 bags.
BTW how much did you pay for it?
chrishin 09-30-2007, 09:16 AM i say fake. they spelled split wrong :p
Dreamzz 09-30-2007, 09:20 AM looks real enough to me.
i think it's too much effort to go through to make a fake bag such as this.
not enough profit margin.
cool idea though, making a bag that can be split into 2.

:D:D:D
good eyesight..... maybe it is for water spill:eek:
i did saw this kind of design, just forgot to mark down its model number. both left and right side are thermo-guard. just dont like the shoe bag place inside the bag. i prefer the design that the placement shoe like the 9624-9 and 9630.
Sgbad 09-30-2007, 09:27 AM Its real i guess, if i do not rem wrongly, all bags are sunr-code instead of sunrise-code.
wuldup 09-30-2007, 10:16 PM 149rm. but they got no stock. and I can't believe they made spelling error. hahaha... How big company like Sunrise didn't spell check like me. hahaha
I guess it's fake. There are too many fakes like 9624-9, 9624-6, all made in China. It's really hard to distinguish between real and fake one.
China will produce fake ones, if it's profitable. THEY RULE the market!!
Omegamiko 10-02-2007, 12:37 PM Looks real enough for me, and if its good quality, hell I want to buy one. That thing is ginormous :P
wuldup 10-04-2007, 09:53 AM I found out that this bag is for professional players so cant buy.^^;; Shop got it during the world championship. only few pieces
Omegamiko 10-04-2007, 10:04 AM Aw man...I was hoping I could really get one. I mean 149 RM is not a big price for such a nice bag...
silentheart 10-04-2007, 10:53 AM It's a fake. Zippers are wrong also. The 3 extra rings is a give a way too.
DinkAlot 10-04-2007, 12:19 PM It's a fake. Zippers are wrong also. The 3 extra rings is a give a way too.
Not necessarily, I purchased some Yonex racket bags from Japan and they have extra...everything, especially rings and loops. :p
Check out my old 612-9:

silentheart 10-04-2007, 12:24 PM Sorry, I should be more specific. For 9624-9 there is no extra rings.
But Panda is right, the Japan market only bag do have extra stuff.

Yeah, there are no rings, instead, heavy duty plastic buckles and clasps. Good stuff!
Yonex makes great bags, I still feel, on the whole, the best; at least for badminton. :)
450450 10-04-2007, 12:59 PM that is one monster! you can use this for your airplane luggage!

Actually, NGP use it to carry bamboo leaf. I would like to us it to carry body parts (an arm and a leg in case I meet up with the NO GOOD Panda).

bad panda, bad panda, bad panda.........

some 3 zippers are thermo-guard, some not..... are those real?
Omegamiko 10-05-2007, 12:13 AM Dang Dink! You make me want that bag so bad now :P I need a new bag :( My current bag is too small and is full of holes.
:D:D:D

It depends which catalog you are referring to. I see lots at the one I look at !
chickenpoodle 10-05-2007, 02:42 PM those extra loops/rings on the bag at the top of the thread are taken from the JP versions of the 24xx bags.
http://www.bbesports.com/yonex/images/bag/BAG-2420-BT6-PRO.jpg
so they do exist

that looks like the bag were talking about! except smaller, like a 6 or 9 racket back when the one in question is like a huge 12 racket bag! soo i would say that the bag is definitely real.
chickenpoodle 10-05-2007, 02:52 PM yeah, the link i posted was for the pro/jp version of the 2420 bag, a 6-racquet badminton bag.
the 2424 bag is a tennis bag, also 6-racquet, then theres a 2424-9.
this new sunrise variation is massive.....
besides, alot of people seems to have forgotten that sunrise seemingly makes their own stuff here and there, and this bag is simply one of them.
i'd use it. if it were smaller.
personally, the 2420 and 2424 i have is perfect.
DinkAlot 10-05-2007, 02:59 PM this new sunrise variation is massive.....
Did it state the dimensions? It doesn't look any larger than the 2424-9 or 9624-9.
DinkAlot 10-05-2007, 03:11 PM Does anyone go to Sunrise or similar shop regularly? If so, can you take pictures of the large bags they have that's not normally sold in the U.S.? I'd like to purchase one or more.
Thanks, Dink! :D
Omegamiko 10-07-2007, 05:16 PM Me Too! I want whatever bag Dink wants :P Actually in all seriousness I need a new bag....I have a second hole in my bag now :P Why do people have an urge to step on my stuff?

9624-9, the one just looks like the black one, 612-9, which DinkAlot showed previously, is available in pertama. Price ia 120rm so I think the price is really reasonable. If you can't bargain, let me know la.
I am going there this week, so i'll post pictures of the bags
Omegamiko 10-09-2007, 01:20 AM Post pictures and whatnot! The best price for a big and cool looking bag is what I'm aiming for!
Thanks wuldup!

Are you Japanese? Cause if you are and played above 2yrs, I really like you to try racket.
drifit 10-11-2007, 11:54 AM ok, already checked out this 9624-12. very nice/good bag. 3 main compartments and able to hold 12 rackets + 1 pair of shoe + many small compartments. solid built.
the most outstanding design that catched my eyes......:D
this 9624-12 is able to split into 2 bags. 1 being smaller, single main zip. maybe, that day, you just want to bring 1-2 rackets + 2 shirts. another 1, being larger, 2 main zips + shoe compartment + ohter small pockets.
not so expensive, tag price at RM 149. in the market, one shall able to get it at RM120-130....
happy shopping guys :):):)
Omegamiko 10-11-2007, 12:51 PM Toooo cool....I think I want one now. Is the shoe compartment the same as the 9624-6 and 9? I have had other bags with shoe compartments, but its often insanely difficult to jam the shoes in when the bag's full of rackets and junk.

hm...
9624-6, the shoe compartment is slot in from top, right?
as for 9624-9, the shoe compartment is slot in from rear. (this, i know, cause i using it currently)
so, this 9624-12 is similiar to 9624-6, shoe compartment is slot in at top.
but for me, i still prefer slot in from rear......:)
this 9624-12 is a GIANT bag.....:D
Omegamiko 10-11-2007, 01:02 PM No it also is from the rear. I also prefer the rear slot. It looks much easier to fit the shoe in :P Sometimes I just get so frustrated trying to fit the shoe into the compartment of my current bag...it just doesn't want to go in sometimes ><
Man, if that 9624-12 had a rear shoe pocket, and was black like Dink's bag 612-9....That would be the bag of my dreams!! I can fill it up no problem.
