"PAW Rookie of the year" born in this week. Just played in 3 tournaments, Loh took his 1st title in Macau following good performance in Taipei as 3rd winner.
Actually he has been declared unofficially winner after Quarter Final, almost impossible other rivals to catch his position. Congratulations to Loh :)

badMania placed on 2nd position, proved us that he is favourite of PAW Bookmakers. The 3rd position was placed by rwchen, once again he performed well. Congratulations to badMania and rwchen :)

Yup...congrats to Uncle Loh for winning the title here....I am lucky enough to sneak in 2nd position after a few futile attempts in Japan Open and Chinese Taipei Open. rwchen also consistently shows good results.

Huge congrats to Uncle Loh. He must be the most experienced (read oldest) Rookie around :D:D. Another 2nd place for Badmania means he close the gap on me in the overall standings. The top 4 finished all their picks by the SF round and were not able to be dislodged thereafter. I wonder if this will become a common strategy in future PAWs?

Good job again Sandy and I also like those fun odds you throw out before every round. Keep it up :)

I think I will abstain from PAWing in the Final round at least for 1 more event, the Dutch Open, after seeing that the strategy worked this time round :cool:

This time I had more luck than before and badMania, my most worthy opponent for this round, did really close in on me although I wasn't around on SF day to experience the excitement and the trepidations!

But of course it is SANDY we must thank for introducing this PAW game to us to add to the intensity of the matches and to fill up the lag tiem when livescore is not available.

Yes Hamilton crashed out in the F1 but Argentina upset the odds to enter the SF World Cup Rugby! And the formidable Blacks (NZ) were unexpected ousted! Fuji played their hearts out but still lost out in the dying minutes to the assertive South Africans! :cool:

I was upset by the ladies in the MO QF. Saina Nehwal and the Chinese WD pair of Zhang and Wei cost me 2 out of 6 matches. Phew, if I were around to watch their matches, I would most certainly faint! :rolleyes:

And badMania really missed his opportunity to overtake me. But the unpredictable Taufik and KKK/TBH saved my day! ;)

Congrats to Loh for topping the table in this round of PAW. He played so well throughout the tourney that I have practically no chance to close in after day 1. As usual, Badmania performed remarkably well to clinch the runner up position. He overtook me after the semifinal day but I am happy enough to finish third.:) Notably, matches are getting more and more unpredictable nowadays and these has really spiced up the competition. Of course, a big thank you goes to Sandy for coordinating the game here.:)

The above are the stats for analysis/comparison purposes.

After Day 1, the 3 top positions were extremely close. I had 2 (3) losses in 24 (22) wins against yours in brackets.

Had you got everything right from the QF onwards you would end up with 27 wins and only 3 losses against my 26 wins and 4 losses. Then you would have overtaken me. But unfortunately, you ended up with 6 losses and I was still safe despite losing another 2 matches. But still you've managed to pip rwchen at the finish.

For the top three positions, there was no change as both you and rwchen decided to use up all your PAWs by the SF. I used them up by the QF stage. Both of you decided not to bet on the finals. :D
