As I muse about WCH, he plays his heart out everytime and gave his best and to be able to beat pretty boy BAO at 31, that is awesome and good job done...if only he is 7 years younger, MAS would have LCW and WCH and 2 great MD pairs for TC....something only CHN has the priviledge or advantage in that CHN so many MS players to pick 3 MS from. We can at least dream...

After CH's win over Kenn Lim yesterday...I asked him how he did fell and he said" great"...this morning aroun3.30 pm..he was there with his wife and still playing around and CH said hello to me...I did not see any injury at all......suddenly there was announcement that CH injured.....sigh!!!

MD Matches

Gan/Lin almost upset Kido/Hendra by leading 20-18 in 3rd set then INA smashed hard to make it 20 all...when MAS got 21-20 by smashing to INA's side...there was tense moment...Lin was too nervous, his service fell into net...when it was 21 all..thats all history.
Eventhough MAS JNR lost, I can see there is bright future ahead of them....they played nothing to lose and quite fierce...

Badmania was too nervous when he called me, the point was 21-20 for MAS...hehe

Let's just give Chen Hong the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he is really injured. What do we know. Yes, he was there before the game started, maybe to inform the game organizers that he can't play. He has been out of the Chinese team for a while, I don't see why he can be pressured.

WCH defeated Bao fair and square in 3 sets. Tight fight.

Personally glad WCH won. The lucky charm I gave him works. Hehehe:D:D

Problem is CH has always been the one giving the w.o. He gave one to LD, one to BCL,now to CJ.Has he given to CY?
Do you only give your lucky charm to WCH? Does it last for one match or for one tournament? But I'm so happy WCH won. He has worked for it. It wasn't free.
Today, WCH receives so many charms. If he wins again tomorrow, he can be called Winning Charm Hann.Still, he deserves full credit.

Hopefully, it would work for the whole tournament as it did to LCW.
I gave LCW lucky charms on 3 different occasions and it worked perfectly. The Sudirman Cup, Philippine Open and Japan open. I wasn't able to give him one during the WC because I never get the chance to see him before the matches started.
Hau-ge and me will be all out to cheer for him tomorrow. His talent and ability plus a little help from the charm will bring us victory. Boleh!!!

The question is, why has CH always (or sometimes) been giving the W/O to them (LD/BCL/CJ)? He needs the prize money, too, doesnt' he? Besides, he is not in Chinese Team anymore, so why he is just giving the win to others so easily as if he doesn't need money anymore?

Even with the 3 top players taking the week off, China placed three players in the quarter-final round of each singles event of two simultaneous events. In order to do this, each of the Chinese men - 7 total as the Macau Open actually has 4 Chinese in the men's singles quarters - had to be double winners on the day.

By Don Hearn; Photo: Badmintonphoto.com (Archives)

In the Macau Open, Gong Weijie is doing his best to produce an all-Chinese final, even in the absence of Lin Dan. Gong dispatched Andrew Smith and Indonesia's Tommy Sugiarto, both in straight games, to reach the quarter-finals. His road to the final is still occupied by Park Sung-hwan of Korea as well as the winner of today's match between Taufik Hidayat and Roslin Hashim.

In the other half of the draw, Wong Choong Hann of Malaysia stands alone with Chen Jin, Chen Hong and Bao Chunlai. Wong is the only one of the four to drop a game on the day, against Pakkawat Vilailak of Thailand. He was pushed to extra points before finishing off Vietnam's dangerous Tien Minh Nguyen 27-25, 21-11 and will face Bao Chunlai today. Chen Jin had no problem with Lee Hyun-il of Korea and will face Chen Hong in the other quarter-final. Zhou Mi, like Wong, is surrounded by Lu Lan, Wang Lin, and Xie Xingfang in the bottom half of the Macau Open women's singles draw.

But I think the "real" match for the WC will be tomorrow,
MK/HS must prove themselves against KKK/TBH.
