Cosmetically yes. I myself prefer the simple 'cleaner' look of the IP racquets. There may be some slight discrepancies though as some here may argue.

Dear blitzzards,
How about performance wise? Will IP coded slightly head heavier than SP coded? Some article stated that IP is meant for Athletes.

I read in this thread (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68921) by Kwun that the IP's were meant to have no specific distribution points around the globe. In terms of head heaviness I'm planning to import two IP coded AT700 old coloured sometime next month and I'll compare it with my current SP coded one.
I'll post some feedback when I can get conclusive result but in the mean time, I'm told that the JP coded racquets have the best weighty feel (could also be head heavier depending on model).

thanks for info. I may need to import a ti102nd gen IP coded to compare with my current sp coded.
I owned a JP coded at900p 4u. The attacking power is good but difficult drive shutter to backend court... I sold it and switch to ti102gen. This racket is good in control, drive to backend, net play as well as attacking...

How I wished I bought it from you; I haven't owned an AT900P, just tried it and really like the 'Gummetal' decal on the JP models.
The Ti-10 I have a 1st gen in 2UG4; power wise I prefer the AT series for singles play since I find the Ti-10 more suited to doubles play where you can concentrate fully on offense where the Ti-10's weightiness really shines through.
