went to the shop the other day. small shop but many people. the owner is friendly and helpful as well. may consider bringing my racket to string if ever i dont have the opportunity to do own stringing. usually i had my racket strung in Pertama Racket World.

I always string my rackets there.

BG-66 with manual string is only RM21 while digital string is RM23.

Cheap compared to Pertama Complex. :p

i think it is better that you stick with your own stringing or RW at pertama complex. ;)

Hey, I bought a Yonex Nanospeed 800 yesterday at AJ....original price is RM219.90, but the boss let me have it for RM200 with free string(BG6) a free grip and a bag. I don't stick on the BG 6 and carried on BG80 (+RM10). They really do have good service! Just as I went there , too much racquets to choose, and the boss recommended that racquet; in MBA, they seem blind and they speak with a long face, i totally hate that!!! AJ has efficiency too you know, not like MBA.

Yes they do accept credit cards. For rackets, 2% commission charge.

For accessories like bags, shoes, shirts and so on, no extra charges.

I prefer the stiffness of Mizuno( due to its wave technology maybe), and I am now temporary using Mizuno Wave Stardom EX2 volleyball shoe to play badminton. The cushion is great, just its grip cant support lateral movement (it cant brake). I am wondering it is the problem with the Mizuno's grip itself or the volleyaball shoe is actually just design for "vertical support like jump spike" for volleyball, not for the badminton. If the grip of the Mizuno badminton shoe is great, then i will buy it instead of yonex.

As drifit advised, u should go to the shop to try several different brands and models. Each person got different feel n tastes.

On another note, AJ has the Mizuno Wave Angle H1 for RM2xx. They did not bring in d Wave Smash bcose of price constraint (price like high-end of RM3xx). :crying:

As for me, I bought Asics Gel Tactic (price RM279) instead. :D

i have no idea coz i dont take the bus... but sounds right as there is only one bandar puteri in puchong... and if coming from kl, bandar puteri is after tesco, so sounds right to me... the bus should stop at Giant supermarket, then AJ is about 10 mins walk from Giant...

I recommend AJ shop if someone wanna yield strings especially BG66 only RM 21 ! +rm3 for digitally yield .

I just bought a Apacs nano 900 power and a nano 9900 from AJ after recommended by the staff there. 1 thing i noticed is that the nano 9900 i bought are different from those that i can search from net... is nano 9900 = nano 9900 power? or is it a fake? :confused::confused:

The retail price for the Yonex 7824 is around RM80, depending on bargaining power. :p

And it can keep 6 rackets and a pair of shoes. Also has two main compartments and two other smaller compartments.

I mentioned it would not have occurred out of scratching against the floor above. I checked it and it was in perfect condition before I sent it there. The scratch is wavy, narrow and deep. Scratches against the floor would at most be a minor curve, and not this deep.

Oh well, the shop owner seems to have lots of explanations and repetitively repeats that his machine has rubber and was unlikely to scratch my racket (I mentioned it was either the pliers or the thing you use to poke the grommets which caused the scratch but he just kept repeating the bit about the machine with rubber). Bottom line, as implied by him saying: "Even Yonex Sunrise won't compensate for your scratched racket" shows that he won't be willing to compensate or assume responsibility even if his "explanations" were proven wrong.

Hence, I decided to just take my business elsewhere. Dealing with the dishonest is not my cup of tea. Consider my post a form of a rant, or otherwise warning in advance. Do not judge a book by its cover :)

Well i would say that their services is good when comes to acknowledgment, welcoming you and introducing their stuffs. They also offer you mineral water.But when comes to stringing.. hmmm... well ... no comments.

I dont have any experience from warranty since i dont buy rackets. But i heard from many people the warranty claim is slow. Reason being so is that they have so personally send the racket back to Singapore. Apparently the relative, sister or someone who lives/work in Singapore often brings back the Rackets stocks to the shop.
So if want to claim.. have to wait for next time for the relative to come back to Msia to collect those faulty rackets back to Spore for Claim. Maybe that is the reason they are slow.

And they buy direct in from Sunrise or a BIg distributor from Spore. Therefore they have good prices.
That is what i was told. Wether it is true or not.. im not so sure.

Thats the problem with some businesses in Malaysia. They are so profit driven that they completely forgot about one important aspect i.e after sales customer service.

Many business owners here dont realise the importance of after sales service or customer recovery. I been to many shops where they treat you like God (offer you drinks, take the time to explain stuff etc) before the sale, but once money is exchanged, its another ball game.

Customer retention is the key to success la.

Went to AJ last weeek to bought a YY MP45. Well i would say that their services is good, and they recomment and introducing the racket too. You can take your time to choose the racket that suite you most.

They offer me mineral water too.

Price wise, can be negotiate. But i'm not sure iwhether it's cheap or expensive coz hardly find Mp45 nowadays.

Haven't deal with them after i bought the racket but hopefully will not have bad after sale service then :)
