and woww 5 places for SINGAPORE in semis....

Actually 6 places for Team SINGAPORE - 1 in each of the 4 events (MS, WS, MD, XD) and 2 places in WD event. :)

With 2 Djarum's representatives in the SF, it could be an all-Djarum Final :cool:

MEN'S DOUBLES SF
Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya vs Rendra Wijaya/Fran Kurniawan -- Rendra/Fran have made it far this time and Djarum's effort is not wasted. However, Hendri/Hendra should prove too strong for them.

Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki vs Vitalij Durkin/Alexander Nikolaenko -- similarly, Rian/Yoke have proven their credential by beating the 4th-seed yesterday. They will now face the second-seed. Expect a tough match and I hope Rian/Yoke prevails.

I think you are wrong. Lee TS is the one lacks stamina. Kendrick Lee is super fit. Always one can see Lee TS keep asking umpire to allow line judges to mop the floor or ask for break to take a drink .....just to catch breathers.

For the sake of my PAW...Wu Yunyong has to win the SF match being played now :D

He was nearly dead and buried at 16-19 in the second set, only to claim 4 straight points and had a game point at 20-19. Przemyslaw Wacha won another point to save it, but, he eventually lost the set 20-22.

What an ending....both players had match points...but eventually Prezmyslaw Wacha wins it 21-12, 20-22, 23-21.

Wacha had 3 match points at 20-17, before Wu levelled it at 20-20 and even had a match point at 21-20. However, that proved to be his last point as Wacha won the last 3 pts to take it home.

Both Rian/Yoke and Rendra/Fran are leading at the interval of the first set, 11-8 and 11-6 respectively. A good start for them (esp for Rendra/Fran).

Not bad...both pairs finished the first set almost at the same time, 21-14 for Rian/Yoke and 21-15 for Rendra/Fran. Can they repeat the same feat in the second set?

Rendra Wijaya/Fran Kurniawan managed to upset the top-seed as they beat Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya 21-15, 21-12.

The other match is more interesting as Rian/Yoke are still trailing 15-17 in the crucial stage of the second set.

Hehe....I was having 2 big meetings ..so while waiting for other team to come....need to check some scores...hehe...I did not finish my meeting till 10.30 pm...damn tired!!!
I am glad that all INA MD final...good job Rian/Yoke and Rendra/Frans.....never expect them to go this far....:D:p:D:p
