A long day is in store tomorrow with 32 players each in MS and WS competing for 4 slots in the main draw. No INA players in both fields...luckily :D The draw size is 16 in both MD and XD, and only 8 in WD.

INA's representative in QUAL:
WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Mie Schjoett-Kristensen/Christina Pedersen vs Lita Nurlita/Nitya Krishinda -- one of the DEN lady is a winner in the Dutch Open. Still, Lita/Nitya should win! The reward will be a manageable tie against Nicole Grether/Juliane Schenk.

Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati vs Rachel Van Cutsen/Paulien Van Doormalen -- Mel/Shendy should have no problem clearing this obstacle and enter the main draw. Their opponent should be qualify will be the tricky Indian pair of Kurian Shruti/Jwalla Gutta.

MIXED DOUBLES
Anders Kristensen/Lena Frier-Kristensen vs Mohd Rijal/Endang Nursugianti -- since Greysia is focusing on WD, Rijal will play in the Denmark SS with Endang and later on in the Vietnam Open partnering Devi Tika. A tricky match esp with the experience of Lena Frier-Kristensen. I still predict a win for Rijal/Endang. The winner will face either Tim Dettmann/Annekatrin Lille or Chris Langridge/Joanne Nicholas. Hopefully, Rijal/Endang can enter the main-draw. A formidable for in the 7th-seeded He Hanbin/Yu Yang will await the qualifer.

and women player, I forgot her name, replaced by Susan Hughes vs Zhou Mi.

Chen Hong as I have reported, he withdrew as he did not get his visa on time....heard that he will be in French open for sure...

Ansgar is small hotel with 3 floors, I think I saw Wacha and some players which I did not recognize yet....

Qualification round is on gong and we still don't have the revised draw out yet? How can players prepare not knowing who are the opponents? We can expect more upset in early round.

Thx for the translation...the qualification match has started 1 hour ago, this forum is still quiet at the moment... The organizer is using 4 courts as usual, hmm the last match will be finished on tomorrow early morning in INA time...

Thanks for the info :)I've just been told that the injured occured at 8-5 in the 2nd set when Ulsing slipped in some sweat on the court... Too bad for him, don't hope its a serious injury, he has had a lot of them in his career so far!

No Persson is not injured. He got promoted to main draw, he will play Anup Sridhar tomorrow.
After round 1 in qualification he was the highest seeded player left and Richard Vaughan withdrew from the main draw, so Joachim took his spot.

Let's see him get past Scott Evans first. Evans has improved tremendously in the last little while and could give LHI some trouble. I do expect LHI to win though to set up that LD match.

Another interesting battle will be between the Hashim brothers. Yoyo King v Mr. Rally. Right now, my money is on Roslin.

i think he will be deafeted here....BUT i am still put my bet on TAUFIQ to give PSH hard time....after all he was left behind by 2-11 not 6-11 remember 2-11 in interval time but he manage to get the point and finally won the match.....so PSH will have rough time in order to beat him....

I teased LIn Dan about meeting Scott instead of LHI....his coach immediately reminded me that Scott is not a bad player....I helped LD/CJ and XXF ordered food today as it is tough to have good food at OCC....no restaurant is around...OCC is in the middle of the field...sigh!!

Not this time..may be in big event only....I chose veal with mushroom for them as well as shrimp cocktail..there was no rice or noodle at all which they prefered..INA cooked some food at hotel room...some hotel allow that and some do not....:cool:

I speak a bit mandarin to them...hehe...CJ did not care as long as it is good....:D:D

:p..yeah, i can imagine...That's what yannie told me, a while back, about the experience the INA players had when playing in Europe/non-Asian countries (esp. one of Alvent:o:p)..Perhaps, next time you may want to buy and stock up on several boxes of instant noodles and bring w/you, in case some teams need them...Our Hau-ge will be the unofficial Food Director for the Asian players..:rolleyes:;):cool:

No..he is not in pelatnas anymore...I did not know how old he is..I suspect around 24 to 25....he is happy to be in denmark....also good news that he did not play 2nd round quali otherwise it was tough to be Joachim....
