Team INA will now face SIN in the playoff tomorrow. SIN has quality players in the GS, while INA should win the points from BD, GD and XD.

The winner should play Team KOR in the Semi-Final, which I think is also arranged for tomorrow.

Ashton is better than Adi... Adi is not particularly fancy in INA's Junior Badminton World. Nandang Arief is better... :p I don't know why Marleve chose Adi and Febe... Nandang and Pia is better at this time... Complacency? Or just a strategy to rest the top guns? Anyway, INA should get the BD and XD, I am not too worried... ;) SIN does not have enough ammunition in those 2 categories against INA...

Nandang played badly won in 3 sets yesterday, I think he isn't good form.
Watched Nandang vs Adi in Jakarta Open Final this year, Nandang is much better than Adi.

Marleve chosed Febe is right, so Pia can focus in Double (and she did well, give 1 point in XD). Pia or Febe would be lost against Xing

Oh no, INA crashed... and by our tiny neighbour SIN... INA shold reconsider acquiring SIN as our 33rd province... He he he... Just kidding...

So we are getting some results from our foreign talent policy, but we still have a long way to go...! :)

And thanks to both powerhouses China and Indonesia, our youths are learning well from their talented foreign coaches as well :D:D:D!

Singapore has to be different and in management and resource allocation, we are different from big brother Indonesia.

Of course we have imported the girls when they were about 12-13 years old and developed them to this stage. This is what we call 'foreign talent'. And we import the talented coaches as well, just like Malaysia!

But I'm most happy that our local boys are up to the task now.

I don't know why Arif lost so easily..Maybe conserving energy for tomorrow..Hope he will play seriously tomorrow...

This is taken from BWF's website:

Malaysia’s singles coach Sun Chenhua said Arif is doubtful for the semi-final tie on Saturday after he strained his groin in the match.

“He is in pain when he walks and we will wait until tomorrow to see if he recovers. If the pain persists, we will not field him,” said Sun.

“We are the underdogs against China as they have two strong singles players, and with Arif’s injury, China are the favourites.”

I respect what SIN is doing... If I were the one in charge of SIN badminton development, I would do exactly the same thing... :p Whoever is doing it over there, I give 2 thumbs up! ;)

Singapore citizens are almost all imports from either China, India, Malaysia, etc... At one point, they were all foreigners... :p Most were imported 100 to 200 years ago, but hey, ...still imported foreigners. Now SIN imported Fu Mingtian, Gu Juan, Zhang, Xing blabla around 4-6 years ago. Same 'foreign import' concept... :D I see nothing wrong with that... ;) he he he... :p SIN's very foundation and existence was built on it. SIN is just following its founding father's old traditions... :)
