Congratulations to Bao Chunlai and CHN supporters for a great display. Haven't seen him play so inspired and full of spirit in a very long time. Total contrast to what he was when he played and lost to WCH in Macao. Scalping both Taufik and a mostly in-form LCW in one tournament is a worthy achievement indeed.

In fact, I expect and want Bao to beat LD tomorrow. LD is still not in the best of form.

LCW's game wasn't bad, but he was bested on the flat fast exchanges (giving Bao many chances to unleash his smashes when a return goes loose), and his reading of the drift was a bit off today. He lost the 2nd game on the drift misjudgement alone.

There's always win and lose in tournament, Bao played better in Game 2 and 3so he deserved the win. I am happy if Chong Wei can consistently storm into semi final and toughen up his mental during that stage. CW is the only player that can match point to point against the Chinese so there's nothing to be ashame off, dissapointment is for sure.

Sorry abt WD, I got ZTingTing/Yu confused with another Chinese pair - World No 2 is actually Gao Ling/Huang. WD not upset.

Bao is seeded lower in world rankings, so minor upset to me.

Every athlete can only hit topform and maintain it for a certain period. They can't keep on top of their game in every tournament, unless he or she is on enhancing performance drugs or something like "sabu"... LOL

CW did storm into semi final so if you consider his semi final participation in Denmark Open as a failure then he will win the French Open else he will fail miserably in round 1 based on previous trend :D
As long as he can maintain his form, the winnning will continue but very difficult to win SS title as most players are playing well and very capable of beating one another.
