Now this is what i say MAS players are lack of confidence. Being seeded as world no. 1 for the first did gave them unnecessary pressure to win the tittle. Instead of playing offensive, they played defensive. We could really see MAS players lost confidence easily when they are highly expected to win, especially during major tournament or high expectation on them....Olympic 2008? They won't reach that far if they are playing this kind of inconsistent play all the times....losing to low ranked players all the time.

Yeah.. Inconsistent is the key.. Although winning & losing is part of the games, but to lose against lower ranks player, not once.. but many , That is really YOYO
Why didn't LD lose to lower rank players in many occasions then...

Hmm...they did mention that they care a lot more about winning titles than being #1....it seems that they still have a long way to go..maybe study the matches involving the Japs more and be more calm and relaxed on court. They have what it takes to win but they are not stable yet...Nevermind...they tried their best and that's all to it.

Good point. Another thing we can conclude from here is that the JPN's coaches have found a way to beat MAS pairs. The JPN pairs have beaten the MAS pair twice already this year. Instead of bashing the MAS pair, please also give the JPN pair credits.
Remember when CHN's coaches have found LCW's weaknesses, the whole MS camp could beat him. It is the same theory.

Hmm...maybe it's the JAP pair's moment to peak? Or maybe KKK/TBH just couldn't handle the pressure...there could be so many reasons as to why they lost....but the Jap pair was simply better than them.

Japan now have Park Joo Bong training them. The British, with Tan Kim Her coaching them is also giving them hard time. When he was coaching Korea, the Korean pairs gave them a hard time.

Why is it humiliating, didn't we see before that the new scoring system has bridged the gaps between MD pairs? All top MD pairs have suffered defeats, it is part of the game. This is not like the 80s and 90s, when top pair really were supreme.

Nope...what i meant they will be remembered as heroes by Japanese fans as they have beaten current world no 1. It's kind of national pride thing...if you live in Japan...you will know that...same as Ogura/Shiota....they are very famous now. Even they have their own photo and books published in Japan.
Too early to be declared Heroes just from this match. They still have to play Choong and Lee tmw. :p

1) XD - He Hanbing/Yu Yang
2) WD - Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen (WO)
3) MD - Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong
4) WS - Lu Lan
Is there another one to complete the table:rolleyes:?
Also, as posted earlier, 4 out of 5 of the recent WC winner have fallen, too :eek::eek:
1) WS- Zhu Lin
2) XD - Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir
3) MD - Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan
4) WD - Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen
