Is this the first time ever that CHN occupied 3 semi slots in an event, only lost the title to the 4th player/pair from another country? I know the infamous case in AE'05 for MAS MD.

Anyway, it seems that in the past few tournaments, LCW and KKK/TBH took turn to win titles. Whenever one wins, another couldn't even advance to final. If this pendulum theory stands, KKK/TBH should win the next tournament title.

Like the one mistake he made at match point was absolutely horrible... just extend the rally long enough, and speed up in the 2nd game... it is that simple, but whatever he was thinking at that time, was like trying to make an incredible come back when down 20-11 or something?:confused: Bao needs to learn to think fast during the game like Lin Dan does.:cool:

Look at the soft drop in the middle of the 2nd set when LCW leaps to his right seemingly to hit a smash as Bao was expecting to hear the swoosh of LCW's racket only to find the shuttle dropped in front of him before he could move his leg. That's LCW's signature shot.

LCW is best ever Malaysian men single for two generations and Malaysian cherish this moment we may not have another single player like him for a long-ong time by the look at the current back up players.

It really depend on who they face against, if you put KKK/TBH there, I think the Malaysians will win. Sad to say CTF/LWW just not the right team to be in the final based on their records. Still, give CTF/LWW credit for getting that far, they have gave their best.

The added bonus is LCW's footwork cross court smashes and Foo Kok Keong dives. And plyed with alot of variation of pace.

If you take away Malaysia Open and local national championship, can you think of any tournament that this pair has won after playing more than 15(?) years together? I only remember they won the Singapore Open and many runner ups. They are certainly under-achievers in my book, one of the best pairs that not good at cross the finishing line! Still, to be the top pairs after all these years is never easy, give them credit able to sustain that.

Agree with u. BCL performance is really terrible, unfortunately LD lost to Mr.Runner Up yesterday... Definitely,more2 exciting game for LD vs LCW, particularly after LD defeated TH two days ago.
