Astro probably got smarter and contracted conditional rights? Upgrade to 'live if MAS makes it to final?

You sure? I remember the Astro trailer indicated 18 Nov.? Gasquet is great to watch;tennis equivalent of TH, with the beautiful backhand but also not great in stamina.

You're right.The Shanghai Masters Final 's probably on the 18th.MAS is real smart to get these hot tennis stars. Imagine the publicity MAS is going to get worldwide!Probably worth much more than what MAS pays these stars.(In SIN, we 're still trying to get Maria S. and Anna C. but who cares.)
In the meantime, won't be surprised if MAS experienced a surge in French tourists on account of MAS badminton performance esp. LCW.

I think i just saw a advertisement in RTM 1,....looks like rtm 1 is going to have live and dail report on coming super series...Chn and HK...hopefully....cant somebody here confirm...?

I hate Astro Super Sport Indonesia so much when I know that ASSP MAS will broadcast BWF Badminton China SuperSeries

I already complaint to them why their dont broadcast it in INA but they broadcast in MAS, they should said that their have different management for broadcasting between MAS n INA

hiksss ... ASSP INA so suck ... they only care to English Premier League rather than Badminton

ASSP INA also dont broadcast from WOrld champion and Japan Super Series ... hikss .... but ASSP MAS broadcast World Champion n Japan Super Series

ooohh ... why ... ASSP INA .... I want to watch China Master Super Series

next month hopefully ASSP INA will broadcast Hongkong & Final Super Series

I am suprised that Indo cable TV didnt broadcast most of the SS. As a badminton superhouse and the main contender for OG GOLD medals, I cant imagine no broadcast for badminton games... Riots? :eek::p

It is good to know that RTM took live match for badminton so that I could also watch it live from my television as my SCV in Singapore will not take live match.

Be mentally prepared for those untimely interruption during matches on RTM1, my blood pressure sky rocketed last time during ABC2007 broadcast :D:D

It's most probably cos organisers (China) charge lower for the rights or promoted it to Malaysia. Something like Asian Games in Doha.

juz watch the info sukan, wow, the training in malaysia camp was superb!!
6 players in 1 court...they train....
lee chong wei is ready for the challenge he will face during the tournament...
he looks fresh n fit!!...

y does rtm1 do highlight 1 hour 2day??2day is juz the qualifying round...
the main draw starts 2moro but the highlight from 2moro midnight is only half n hour...the main draw is more exiting than the qualifying round mah...

RTM 1 always like that. Depends whether got any sponsored shows at 1.00 am,if there is, then highlights is half hour, if there isnt then 1 hour. Government owned station, what to do, staff also paid lower.
As you know, RTM got the rights for badminton, so the private channels cant show. grrrrrrrr

12.30 am - 1.30 am. If half hour will end 1 am. In the days before I found this forum and tournament software, I used to watch it to know the results. RTM also interview coaches and players, which tourney software or live match dont show, that's the interesting part.
Anyway, today only qualifiying round.

to day ... English premier league .. foreign soccer is more popular than badminton ....

so people complaint when EPL was taken by Astro to broadcast it ..

so our local TV broadcast Italia, Holland, Spanyol League

but badminton ... no local tv broadcast it .. only depend to Astro ...

but Astro so suck ... also more focus to EPL

Dear belagabego, badminton community is not bigger than football community. If you have satellite receiver you can see my post in badminton indonesia.com. And MBI will pressure to tv station in indonesia to coverage badminton events, like premier league community did. Did you remember that? When astro coverage this event, football community take protest to this station and then they give for Lativi to coverage this event too.

Hopefully MBI can 'press' INA TV Station succesfully to air many bdm tourneys. Just information, Trans Corp (Trans 7 and Trans TV) is the Official TV for next TUC/08, no wonder this BWF event will be held in Jakarta!! Honestly, want to say INA National TV stations are very commercial, don't be surprise if they wouldn't broadcast Beijing Games/08 as they did for Athens/04...All bdm fans in INA only can depend to Cable TV (Indovision, Astro Nusantara) and internet streaming.

Im really not sure , Maybe you have to register with them , although I didnt..
Give it a try. If that doent work type into www.google.com (http://www.google.com) TVUPlayer and try and download that.
It's like a step through guide so there shouldn't be any problems
