Please read properly.. for HONG KONG BC MEMBERS. Of course on the 18th will be too early for the International BC Members to go to HK since Hong Kong Open has not even started yet.

to clarify, of course any BC members from anywhere in the world are welcomed to join us! :D

it may be worthwhile to have a lunch gathering the Monday of the HK open if there is enough interests. please let us know if you are interested...

I don't understand why the proposed gathering will be on Nov 18. That will be the finals of the China Master 2. I think most of the members in Hongkong will either be watching the games at Guangzhou or the live telecast. I believe it will be advisable to have the gathering during the Hongkong Open week. Maybe attendance will be higher if we do it Saturday night after the semi-finals. Just a suggestion. :)

Contrary to what I've indicated in the other thread about HK Open badminton opening, I won't be able to make it to this gathering :(. It's too bad that I won't be able to meet up with more badminton forum members from HK or all over the world this ocassion, but I hope to meet up with more of you at a later date.

If luck permits, I hope I'll bump into you while watching the HK Open. I haven't bought my ticket yet, but I'm thinking about watching some games on day 2 or day 3. It's likely tickets for the games before the quarter finals will be easy to get, right?

..kwun might have to plan for a multi get-together this time, just to get all of the BC people in town...:p:confused:..

..hmm, i would somewhat concur to that idea (eventhough i won't be there). Since I know kwun & family will leave HK on the last Wednesday of the month (28th), maybe the "better time" for you guys to do another get-together is on the Monday or Tuesday on the week of the HK Open, since the schedule on those days would be "quite light". Also after kwun & family come back from the China Open.
*kwun's schedule: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46644&page=6 (post #97)
**Btw, envy you guys for the get-together, esp. with BC paying the bill...hehe:p:D:o;)..Don't forget to take lots of pics, guys & share w/us!!:D:cool:

no lah. China Open is Nov 20-25...

I stand corrected. I got mixed up. Then, the gathering will be convenient for Hongkong members only. Maybe another gathering will be appropriate during the Hongkong open week if there are other members from other countries who will be attending the Hongkong Super Series.

I take that 'shall' to be a guarantee. :)
Any other offers?

I'm awaiting some hopefully good news from Mr Huangkwokhau before making a final decision. If Rudy should revert positively, you must invite him for the delicious golden goose meal also! Do watch out that X Ball may gatecrash though.

But time is not on my side as the days idled by without any further response from Rudy! :(

Well, we didn't miss much since we celebrated one way back in 2004 during the Singapore Open. You came a bit late, otherwise you would enjoyed together with us. You can ask your badminton playing partner who was with us. :)

Unfortunately, Janet has to accompany Kwun's mum to various places of interest, otherwise Kwun would not be able to join us in the badminton session as well as the hawker fare for lunch. Janet and Kwun's mum did join us at the stadium though. :)

(Loh, surprised you got on the internet this weekend. Are you working at the office??):p
Ah, so that's what really happened. Yes, yes, understandable. I'd say wise and good choice for Janet to accompany mom-in-law to do, perhaps, some shopping; i'm sure they must've had an enjoyable time shopping & sightseeing..;):)

..uhm, maybe mine is not as fantastic as Loh's.;) I was merely trying to see if Loh would be able to recollect what happened during the S'pore Open, more than 3 yrs ago; and he did remember..;)
