Can anyone recommend a good shop to buy a racquet in Singapore. Also are they cheaper than in the U.S.

You could also try out these 2 shops.

1. Ranking Sport, same floor as Zenith Sport (i think it's on the 3rd floor), Bras Basah Complex. The price is better vs Zenith. You may wish to check out.

2. Champ Sport at Peninisula Plaza on 4th Floor, Coleman Street.Prices are just as competitive as Ranking Sport depending on brand and model.

So far the brands I had come across in Ranking Sports are Yonex, Carlton (limited models only) and SBP (Serious Badminton Player,made in Taiwan) which they try to promote aggressively. I think they are the sole distributor for SBP and prices are cheaper than Yonex.

I usually go the shop at Hougang Sports Hall, Hougang Ave 10. I think it is called 10 n 10. They'll give great prices for Yonex and ProAce rackets!

Visit Queensway Shopping Centre. It's a complex dedicated mainly to sports equipment. Take your time to shop around and enquire about prices. The shops selling badminton racquets all sell Yonex high-end racquets. Other shops are scattered all over the island and some of them are quite far from the city centre. The exceptions are Bras Basah Complex and Peninsula Plaza at Coleman Street which is right in the city.
