Here are my predictions for the 4 players and pair who stand big chance in winning the title at the forthcoming China Open:

1. Mens Singles - Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei, Bao Chun Lai and Taufikit Hidayat
2. Womens Singles- Xie Xienfang, Zhou Mi, Zhang Ning and Wang Chen
3. Men's Doubles- KKK/Tan Boon Heong/ Cai Yun/ FHF, Hendra/ Kido and LWW/ Choon Tan Fook
4. Womens Doubles- Yang Wei/ Zhang Jiewen, Du Jing/ Yu Yang, Wei Yili/ Zhang Yawen and Vita Marissa/ Lilyana Natsir.
5. Mixed Doubles- Zheng Bo/ Gao Ling, Flandy/ Vita, Xie Zhongbo/ Zhang Yawen and Nova/ Lilyana

LD, CY/FHF, the crowd support will play an important role in aiding them. Though i hope MAS can overcome their usual under pressure issue and excel. This is very much a preview of the coming '08 OG.

Yes, agreed,.....just look at the china master 07,..LD and CY/FHF is so unstopable...........so i would say ....for MS ....LD and for MD....it would be CY/FHF or TG/CW....as for LCW...to play in SF or even Final is good enough already,.....KKK/TBH i noticed they cant perform well when they are seeded No.1 in tournament....like French Open...i just hope they could enter Final ...thats mean...they have to beat CTF/LWW in Quater F and TG/CW in SF........hope they can perform my expertation....;)

Seeded no. # 1 in any SS may jinxed them(As they will be able to avoid all the possible title contenders in their earlier rounds); they normally played extremely well against any top pair but often looks struggling with lesser rank pairs :cool:

This is their "weird" but yet truth results so far since their partnership. :rolleyes:

1) Yes they were seeded 3rd but they were already World No 1 but the time of finals match. World rankings are released on thursdays, finals are on Sundays. So both you and Daniel are right, the commentator also explained the above.

2) In The Star, TBH did say his condition not very good due to hectic schedule this year. It's the end of the year, he feels 'lethargic', therefore cant promise anything just give their best. It's TBH's 1st year as top pair.
KKK as you know was still recovering from flu and blisters during the European tourney. Rexy in that interview did say the European tourney "..took a toll on them".

Of course, if they are tired, so are their opponents, having to chase for Olympic qualification points.

My conclusion : could be TG/CW or Fu/Cai MD winner. TG/CW having skipped the European SS would be more fresh, Fu/Cai cos of home ground advantage.
