Hi everyone,

I broke my racket today, and really need help selecting a replacement. I made a mistake last time I got one, and ended up with something that was wrong. I think they've now discontinued the series, I've played with a Wilson Hypercaron 9.0 for quite a while, and would like something comparable, but know nothing about rackets. What sort of things should I go for? What sort of attributes should I be looking for in a racket, if I like the Hypercarbon 9.0? Any advice would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Hi cynical_blue:

Quite certain the Hypercarbon 9.0 has been discontinued.

I know this guy who loves his 9.0 to bits (like you)... He swears by it (has an AT 800-Off as his backup racket!!):eek:

Check out Sir DinkAlot's Racket Review Chart (which might give you options);
http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45209&page=7;)

Try out as many rackets as you can get the chance to before making up your mind on your next purchase.

I went through a phase of 'impulse buying' (believing each time that my latest buy would transform me into a better player) and wound up with a stack of rackets which I didn't use (didn't help that I played like crap...) :o:mad::crying:.

Look around in the forum & you'll come cross options (Yonex or otherwise) ;).

Happy Hunting...
