Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW

Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
samuel882 11-30-2007, 11:42 AM Cool ! One Court on semis day, unlike in WC07 ,which me & hauge eyes turning left & left when 2 courts were playing simultaneously :p
here are my predictions:
Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing
better in speed, fire power, everything leans towards the chinese. however, i do expect the Taiwanese to go down with a good fight.
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang
they did it last week, i think they can do it again.
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan
right now Lu Lan is still not experience enough, good technical skills but poor strategy.
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW
oh boy... this one tough to call. LCW was really sharp today against PG. i think LCW will avenge his CO lost last week.
Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan vs. Fu Haifeng / Cai Yun
Fu/Cai are simply not playing well lately, seems a bit disoriented and slower in reaction in court. an easy win for Markis and Hendra.
starts at 6.30pm:
Zhu Lin vs. Jun Jae Youn
i think this is going to be a close fight. both are good players. Zhu Lin playing well but lacking in authority. i think Jun will lose but only barely.
Zheng Bo / Gao Ling vs. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen
Xie/Zhang to win here. Zheng/Gao was almost beaten by the Thais today. this pair is not at their top form right now.
Flandi Limpele / Vita Marissa vs. Nova Widianto / Lilyana Natsir (again!!)
Nova/Lilyana usually wins when these two plays
Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin
Lin Dan. they need to stop LCW.
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
Tony Candra was simply on fire today.
badMania 11-30-2007, 12:03 PM Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
Tony Candra was simply on fire today.
Don't forget, Luluk/Alvent was equally fiery today, an almost performance from them  I personally think that Tony/Candra will be exhausted from the many smashings in their unbelievable match against Koo/Tan. Luluk/Alvent to win!
ye333 11-30-2007, 12:22 PM Have to agree... Seldom see Kwun make predictions, so he must have enough reasons -- and he actually saw those ppl play!
Btw, you said CY/FHF was not playing well, so that means JR/LP played worse?

Gao Ling/Zhao tingting vs Du jing/Yu yang..

Mine were also about the same as u..just 1 difference.
Zhengbo/Gaoling VS Xie zhongbo/Zhang yawen.
Just got the feeling.Besides,it's gaoling!!Hehe..the smiling girl.My fave..:D:D.Looking at her playing would make me laugh as well, since she'd smile even if she made a mistake.:D:D:D
sumbadder 11-30-2007, 12:34 PM Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing - Little bazooka and the big cannon will prevail. Won't be as easy as their other matches though.
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang - LYB will have ordered DJ/YY to let their seniors win since they need all the ranking/qualification points they can get.
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan - Lu Lan has been in good form lately but XXF is still a step above as we saw in last week's semi.
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW -The Dane benefited from the draw to get this far and Lee will outclass him.
Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan vs. Fu Haifeng / Cai Yun - 50:50 I think. FHF/CY seem to be regaining some of the form they had a few months ago where they were slaughtering all their opponents but Kido/Setiawan are best on Chinese ground and they've been playing extremely well. I give the slightest of edges to CHN since they are wanting revenge from last week.
starts at 6.30pm:
Zhu Lin vs. Jun Jae Youn - This will be a tough match for Zhu Lin if Jun is able to keep the rallies long since Zhu is prone to errors. Jun has also benefited from a good draw and a tired Zhang Ning to get this far and I don't think she is quite at the same level as the rest of the CHN women still.
Zheng Bo / Gao Ling vs. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen - eh...Too bad for the giant and the dwarf that they have to meet their stronger teammates. It could be an interesting match if the XZB/ZYW play very well but the smiling assassin won't want to lose another title in her almost perfect year, especially since she could very well get two from this tourney to finish off the year.
Flandi Limpele / Vita Marissa vs. Nova Widianto / Lilyana Natsir (again!!) - I honestly don't know about this one. Notet seem to be letting their relaxed attitude on court get to them and thus put them in danger of losing. But I think that they will prevail as they always seem to do.
Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin - CJ is playing awesomely but I think Super Dan is a league above him in every department and wants to face off against his nemesis LCW. There's a slight chance (if LYB would allow it) that CJ could win though given his form and confidence lately.
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven - They're ready to show these two who their daddy's are. Plain and simple.
z3048018 11-30-2007, 12:35 PM today it'll be a farce or a real treat...... hopefully the latter since i was unable to attend last night's QF
badMania 11-30-2007, 12:42 PM Matches involving TEAM INA:
MEN'S DOUBLES
Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto -- I beg to differ from most predictions here and I think Luluk/Alvent can beat Tony/Candra. The veteran pair would be feeling the after-effect of their exhausting match against Koo/Tan. Meanwhile, Luluk/Alvent was totally awesome in their victory over Logosz/Mateusiak. Luluk's serves also yielded the pair many many points over the past 2 days :D
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- no doubt, the one to watch. I will be biting my nails most of the times  Certainly, both pairs will want to win this one badly. Kido/Hendra have a good record in Hong Kong and China, but, I prefer to keep my expectation low. The Chinese pair still has an edge despite their relatively indifferent form lately.
MIXED DOUBLES
Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa vs Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir -- a good match in store and I think Flandy/Vita is still better than Nova/Butet.
d65up2 11-30-2007, 01:25 PM My prediction:
Luluk-Alven v Candra-Tony
The key here is how to contain Candra Wijaya do dat and Luven shall prevail...However Luluk is the weakest link out of the 4 players in this court so containing Candra is an impossible task as Tony would be there attacking Luluk
Cai-Fu v Kido-Hendra
The key to victory for the Indonesian is to upset the formation by pushing Fu Hai Feng at the back....Kido-Hendra won in China fairly cheaply saw them paly against the Danes in China....true that they won but they have no killer moves at all....weakest link here is Markis Kido so Cai-Fu would try their hardest to kill off Kido......Easy win for Cai-Fu......also HK crowd would be supporting Cai-Fu so Kido-Hendra will have no chance in the world....Prove me wrong guys
Flandy-Vita v Nova-Liliyana
badMania 11-30-2007, 01:30 PM I agree that Markis Kido is the weak link  He still made many unforced errors today against Ohtsuka/Masuda  However, Hendra Setiawan has already shown his maturity and leadership, with his placement shots and impressive netplay. He is the key man.
They showed that they have beaten Fu/Cai several times and its time for them to do it again tomorrow. The odds are still against them though and I am praying that they will prevail.
badMania 11-30-2007, 01:35 PM Kido-Hendra won in China fairly cheaply saw them paly against the Danes in China....true that they won but they have no killer moves at all....
That is surely an understatement  Did you watch the first set of the China Open SS Final match against Guo/Xie and the Chinese-Taipei Open Final against Paaske/Rasmussen?? Those were the best displays they put on this year  Kido's smashes are still lethal and obviously, Hendra's impressive coverage of the net and placement did generate many "oohhss...and ahhhs".
Kido/Hendra have shown that they can up the tempo when they trailed (at least twice today) or in crucial moments (against Eriksen/Hansen in the third set last week). The fastbreaks will be needed tomorrow
ye333 11-30-2007, 02:07 PM Did CY/FHF ever beat MK/HS easily? Usually the Chinese pair is forced to play some fast drive game which is the strength of the Indonesian pair. This is even true in matches MK/HS lost, for example the recent China Masters MDF.
I think the Indonesian pair has slight edge. The key is HS. I think if both in top forms, HS controls the net area better than CY, thus FHF usually doesn't have much chance to smash.
Btw, both pairs won WC with major opponents eliminated by others. CY/FHF has difficulty with MK/HS and KKK/CCM, and MK/HS is afraid of KKK/TBH and is 50:50 against CY/FHF.

hcpoirot 11-30-2007, 04:06 PM Indonesia players specially who played SF today and maybe final tomorrow will had to be careful watching their stamina.
2 weeks ago all of them play national matches, last week China Open minus Taufik Hidayat, this week Hong Kong Open and next week Sea Games. In Sea Games, most of them had to play for team event and then individual event.
What was PBSI thinking?
Not to mention after barely a week rest, most of them again had to play Super Series final.
Even malaysia smart enough to send their second tier players in Sea Games.
Come on, the most important thing right now is to prepared players well enough to peak at Olympic next year and not to made them too tired to play well next year at Beijing Olympic.
apontoh 11-30-2007, 04:48 PM my predictions:
Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing
World number 1 too strong for the Taiwanese..two tight sets.
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang
Gao/Zhao need the points to qualify for olympics, so executive decision from LYB. It will either be a W/O, or two easy games so Gao doesn't get overstretched before playing XD in the afternoon & tomorrow's final.
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan
XXF is still a level above everyone else in team China, including Zhang Ning who's getting old and tired. Three sets.
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW
KJ is playing well but LCW is a level above him, up there with LD. LCW to win in two sets.
Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan vs. Fu Haifeng / Cai Yun
MK/HS have advantage in China and Hongkong. They've been playing well. FHF/CY on the other hand has struggled through most their matches so far, not to mention losing in the first round in CO. They also narrowly avoided another upset by the Malaysians in this tourney...MK/HS to take it in 2 games.
Zhu Lin vs. Jun Jae Youn
50-50 game. JJY is all fired up, and she'll have WMC and Tine Rasmussen in her mind. :)
Zheng Bo / Gao Ling vs. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen
Team China needs to stop INA from winning XD. GL/ZB is more reliable than XZB/ZYW against any INA pair, be it Nova/Lilyana or Flandy/Vita.
Flandi Limpele / Vita Marissa vs. Nova Widianto / Lilyana Natsir
50-50 match, but I would put my money on Nova/Lili. The momentum's on their side after winning CO.
Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin
LD all the way...and if the match was fixed, LD is also a safer bet against LCW in the finals.
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
TG/CW has a mental advantage over Luluk/Alvent. TG/CW to win in 2 games.
abedeng 11-30-2007, 05:55 PM Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing
As good as Chien/Cheng are, they've never really troubled top CHN pairs. At least MAS and KOR pairs have beaten their opponents.
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang
LYB already decided the outcome in favour of his best doubles player and her new partner. Well, at least Gao Ling is more photogenic on TV ....... :D
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan
XXF the only CHN WS player with consistency. Despite her failure against Wong Mew Choo last week, she's the best to take up the heavy armour to the final, in anticipation to a possible showdown against Jun Jae Youn. Another badminton "exhibition match" ......
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW
LCW too good for Kenneth, very impressive against Gade yesterday and Chen Jin last week ......
Markis Kido / Hendra Setiawan vs. Fu Haifeng / Cai Yun
As per the tradition of MAS and INA pairs, Markis/Hendra have always had the skills advantage against Fu/Cai, more so with Hendra's great form and trick shots. The main thing here is to maintain composure and avoid what had happened at China Masters Final. Having said that, Fu/Cai get stronger as the tournament progresses .......
Zhu Lin vs. Jun Jae Youn
As Apontoh mentioned, Jun will look for inspiration from Wong and Tine's famous Super Series victories. Like Tine, Jun has a better attack than Wong, though not quite the extreme stamina. Then again, Zhu Lin is probably the least fit team member among the top CHN WS squad.
Zheng Bo / Gao Ling vs. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen
Team China's XD no longer formidable after a string of defeats against SEA opposition from Indonesia and Thailand. Yet ZB/GL are better at mind games, LYB will pre-select the winners as usual.
Flandi Limpele / Vita Marissa vs. Nova Widianto / Lilyana Natsir
50-50 match, Flandy/Vita had the better of the exchanges although they lost the last encounter last week. Yet Nova/Lilyana have shown to be more aggressive recently, good wins against Thai, England and Danish opposition show their form. I have no preference, but whoever wins this match had better beat the Chinese to the title ......
Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin
LD all the way...and the match will definitely be fixed, no question ......
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
The old warhorses have new belief. That makes them different from other aged warhorses (Choong/Lee, Lundgaard/Eriksen), including today's opponents.
d65up2 11-30-2007, 06:39 PM Markis and Hendra lack the art of killing if you watch their games in China open you don't see alot of smash winners.....say KKK-TBH and CY-FHF have the art of killing in them like killer instinct....I am getting worried tomorrow

Taufik-ist, since all Msia MD pairs lost, I also hope Kido/Setiawan win to break the great wall and gain some confidence.
But after a spell, would like to see Tony/Chandra go up against Fu/Cai in the Finals(and of course win, could be their last HK Open bf retiring). I think they met last in AE or Swiss Open, even then Tony/Chandra stretched them to 3 sets.
But which pair you prefer more? The 2000 OG Champs or 2007 World Champs?
Legends(too disrespectful to give them nicknames) or Mighty Mouse + Mighty Pole

unfortunately no...man dun get me wrong I am a big fan of them but if you look at Candra-Tony......the way they kill is so artistic...is like a slice on the nect with Kido-Hendra is more like a stab all over the place lol
(They used to kill smoothly look at the INA open a couple of years when they beat Candra-Sigit or so)
I do wanna watch Kido-Hendra play in real life maybe next yrs Thomas cup if it is held after May....hopefully it is after May lol

Kido/Hendra have started NOT TO RELY on too many smashes when facing top oppositions. Still, they beat the Japanese pairs with fair amount of smashes from Kido and sometimes Hendra (just waiting in front of the net to kill the bird).
Watch the Chinese-Taipei Open Final and you will know what I mean. That was Hendra at his best! Paaske/Rasmussen were just frustrated with the brilliant placements and trick shots by Hendra.

you have reffered to kido/hendra's performance in china open 2007... hey they had played in kejurnas 2 days before china open begun.. they might have been exhausted  :D

And they have played THE MOST NUMBER OF MATCHES among the 4 semi-finalists today
Kido/Hendra -- 5 matches in both Kejurnas and CO, 3 matches in HKO (13)
Fu/Cai -- 4 matches in the Olympics test, 1 match in China Mobile Cup, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Luluk/Alvent -- 5 matches in Kejurnas, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Tony/Candra -- just 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (4)
X Ball 11-30-2007, 08:04 PM here are my predictions:
Kenneth Jonassen vs. LCW
oh boy... this one tough to call. LCW was really sharp today against PG. i think LCW will avenge his CO lost last week.
Tony Gunawan / Candra Wijaya vs. Luluk / Alven
Tony Candra was simply on fire today.
Tony is on fire definitely but you will be on fire too by predicting a win for LCW. This is the match I have been waiting for -- LD vs LCW unless LD blows it against CJ.
This is a grudge match after what had happened at CO.

fire need gas... tony/candra did alot of smashes yesterday to beat KKK/TBH  do they still have a lot of gas for today macth, luluk/alvent got an easy game yesterday.. :D :D
ctjcad 11-30-2007, 08:16 PM This is the match I have been waiting for -- LD vs LCW unless LD blows it against CJ.
..personally, i wouldn't mind to see a CJ vs. LCW Final..And see if CJ can figure out a way to redeem himself after losing to CJ in last week's Semi Finals of the CHN Open..And at the same time, to see whether LCW can still win with the same tactical style he displayed at that match..;)..

Nope disagree -- LCW has beaten CJ in the last two encounters (not just one) so it is no fun watching it (even if CJ has worked out his strategy to beat LCW).
LD has managed to avoid meeting LCW for as many tournamants that I can remember and it is time for a rematch.
Think about it - this will be an appropriate FINALE (LD vs LCW, 1st and 2nd seeds) to this year's SS (given that there is doubt of the SS grand Finals happening and China already said they would not participate).

..so i take it you want LCW to face CHN's "best"...and no other but LD??...:);)..
abedeng 11-30-2007, 09:20 PM The Badzine report stated that LCW was limping off the court after the high quality match against Gade. Hauge, Kwun, BadMania and HK gang, could you please verify this? Doesn't look good if the injury is acting up.
Having said that, I am happy to see LCW's consistency back on track, in fact better than LD for the past 6 months. Only had one bad tournament, and that was the World Championships.
Krisna 11-30-2007, 09:57 PM here are my predictions:
Gao Ling / Zhao Tingting vs. Du Jing / Yu Yang
they did it last week, i think they can do it again.
Xie Xingfang vs. Lu Lan
right now Lu Lan is still not experience enough, good technical skills but poor strategy.
Zheng Bo / Gao Ling vs. Xie Zhongbo / Zhang Yawen
Xie/Zhang to win here. Zheng/Gao was almost beaten by the Thais today. this pair is not at their top form right now.
Lin Dan vs. Chen Jin
Lin Dan. they need to stop LCW.
I predict at least one of these matches are going to result in a "withdrawal due to an unclear injury"... Whoever needs more points to go to the Olympics will "get" the quick victory...
Krisna 11-30-2007, 10:04 PM And they have played THE MOST NUMBER OF MATCHES among the 4 semi-finalists today
Kido/Hendra -- 5 matches in Kejurnas and 5 matches in CO, 3 matches in HKO (13)
Fu/Cai -- 4 matches in the Olympics test, 1 match in China Mobile Cup, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Luluk/Alvent -- 5 matches in Kejurnas, 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (9)
Tony/Candra -- just 1 match in CO and 3 matches in HKO (4)
Will Kido-Hendra also play in the SEA games after this week? If they do,... potentially, they can play 20+ competitive matches in 4 weeks! :D I expect at least 5 matches in the SEA games too because there is the team event in addition to the individual event.
ye333 11-30-2007, 10:17 PM In fact LCW has beaten CJ 3 times in a row now. Twice very recently, and another one a few months ago, when LCW thrashed CJ 21:9(or 7) in the 1st game, then in the 2nd game scored 9 pts in a row when trailing 12:16.
X Ball, are you really a Malaysian fan? :D

during the rtm 2 highlights, i heard LCW said that his knee is still pain, not easy to move ard the court, cant jumping smash!:crying::crying::crying:

Please, Lee Chong Wei is playing Jonassen today, not Chen Jin or Lin Dan, lets respect and veteran and talk about the final tomorrow.
alohio12 11-30-2007, 10:33 PM Zhang Yawen/Wei Yili vs. Chien Yu Chin/Cheng Wen Hsing
As good as Chien/Cheng are, they've never really troubled top CHN pairs. At least MAS and KOR pairs have beaten their opponents.
lol abedeng, wrong again. here i am, to chien/chengs defense as usual...they beat wei/zhang 21-19,21-19 at the HKG Open in 2006...and they took wei/zhang to three sets just last week at the China Open...and they took Gao/Huang to three sets at a previous tournament as well...so HA! haha but i think chien/cheng are prolly gonna lose this one again -.-...though i think the KOR pair are more on par with chien/cheng and i think the MAS pair is slipping.
CLELY 11-30-2007, 10:33 PM So many CHN representatives in today's semifinal match 11 of 20 spots. But the most important is INA dominate MD sector this time which is CHN's weakest link. Meanwhile MAS once again only LCW is the survivor, really impressed by his performance in second half of this year. After failure in its home soil tournament last week, seems CHN bounce back with their dominance here.
george@chongwei 11-30-2007, 10:51 PM i hope lee chong wei 2day will win his match aginst KJ!
CAMON MALAYSIA!!!!
CAMON CHONG WEI!:D:):p
eaglehelang 11-30-2007, 10:59 PM during the rtm 2 highlights, i heard LCW said that his knee is still pain, not easy to move ard the court, cant jumping smash!:crying::crying::crying:
Oh? I only heard LCW said his performance in Semis depends on condition of his knee. His knee was in ice packs though. He looked tired.
Misbun said the strategy is to avoid LCW getting attacked. So indirectly saying LCW's knee injury is acting up.

GL cannot withdraw otherwise she also has to miss her XD.
Walkover likely for WS.
Carbonexer 11-30-2007, 11:08 PM If that world dirtiest LYB decided to use his infamous dirty strategy, a walkover will be given to LD today. If not, I foresee its a fixed match with only a straight sets affair and a very minimum sweat from LD. Really dirty creature indeed!

Well, you're right that Gao Ling cannot fake her injury, but... Zhao Tingting or Zheng Bo can still fake something... Does not need to be Gao Ling... ;)

I really doubt that because CJ would need some point to qualify as top4 players since the chasing pack are coming close.
China sure want 3/4 top spot... :) maybe LD letting Cj win?:crying:
Tjun Tjun 11-30-2007, 11:22 PM Longest rally of the match which was won by the Chinese Taipei when the Chinese sent the shuttle long 14-20........now 16-20.......

Good point!! One thing you don't need to defend them against is that they are the most consistent pair around ..... after the Chinese pairs, of course ...... :D:D:D
Koreans and Japanese cuties are inconsistent, MAS has gone down, INA (Vita/Lilyana) don't play in too many competitions .....

The match between Lu Lan and Xie XF up to this point looks suspicious to me......Lu Lan is playing well below par committing a lot of unforced errors, hitting the shuttle into the net or sending them wide....it is not the kind of match expected between world #1 and #3 .......think Xie is going to win easily.......16-8 now.

You said should be..LD....? since CJ doesnt have good records againts LCW?...are you saying Chn team...will arrange who to play in the Final tomorrow?...:D:D:D
**KZ** 12-01-2007, 02:09 AM after KJ and PG....wonder who's gonna take over for DEN....Joachim Persson in my mind is not good enough...however most european platers usually blossom at an older age...KJ for example...
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:09 AM Looking at Kenneth Jonassan, why Roslin and Hafiz will lost so badly???
Louisa 12-01-2007, 02:09 AM Chong Wei wins. But a very sporting KJ has a long chat with him as they shake hands.
yes, it is great. Both enjoying the game.
Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:09 AM next,Kido/Hendra vs CY/FHF..
sweetlover 12-01-2007, 02:10 AM well done lee chong wei...!!!
so proud of u...!!!
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:10 AM Come on...Kido/Hendra...
yyclub 12-01-2007, 02:11 AM danish will be struggling to get new blood into the game. so far no prominent names for their juniors. even for malaysia. indonesia and china got good back up.
I don't know others, I don't think there is any back-up from Malaysia unless you consider HH and Roslin brothers. I don't see any player as consistence as LD(CH), BCL (CH), LCW(MAL) entry semi final for most of the SS. After tham next in order will be CY(CH), CH(CH), CJ(CH) and Sony(INA) where is MAL? LCW is alone.
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:12 AM 2 mistakes by Kido.....one into the net, one long.......0-2......
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:13 AM Kido is so cute..Come on..Win it..Hendra...Kido...
X Ball 12-01-2007, 02:15 AM I thought LCW had a lot in reserve in his win today. This is in reserve for LD, if he gets thru.:D
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:16 AM Oh yes..9-6 now..Come on,Kido/Hendra..Its 10-6..
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:16 AM Beautiful backhand crosscourt by Kido.....8-6......9-6.....10-6....so fast....can't keep pace.....
X Ball 12-01-2007, 02:17 AM Looking at Kenneth Jonassan, why Roslin and Hafiz will lost so badly???
KJ is not a bad player but lacks spped that LCW has. Roslin and HH are not as fast or as fit -- so they find a fit KJ hard to beat.
Krisna 12-01-2007, 02:21 AM Kido-Hendra are purposely not playing long rallies or something...
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:22 AM as good as finals for the mens doubles.
Krisna 12-01-2007, 02:22 AM Kido is so cute..Come on..Win it..Hendra...Kido...

extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:23 AM yap yap yap.. agree..:D china and indonesia now is like dominating in back up players. population I guess.

Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:24 AM Kido is playing well......his placements are good, his smashes are effective.....won 1st set 21-15.........

You said should be..LD....? since CJ doesnt have good records againts LCW?...are you saying Chn team...will arrange who to play in the Final tomorrow?...:D:D:D
X Ball 12-01-2007, 02:25 AM Wow the announcer in the Hall announced LCW will be giving autographs. He is good.
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:25 AM told u aledy hes like chilli padi...:D
Wow..Kido is very explosive..
stork 12-01-2007, 02:25 AM KJ is not a bad player but lacks spped that LCW has. Roslin and HH are not as fast or as fit -- so they find a fit KJ hard to beat.
Hafiz and Roslin areīnt good enough to match toplevel players. KJ is a level above them. I wonder why malaysian fans only look at their own players, because there are opponents too. Itīs not that Hafiz only lacks the will to beat Jonassen, also the skill.
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:27 AM anyone know who the hong kong coach is?
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:27 AM LCW was absolutely brilliant today. KJ was outplayed. KJ was as usual a gentlemen despite showing much signs of frustration. no matter what he do, he was like hitting against a brick wall.
Well said. Is Sally Yeh in the stadium today?

Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:28 AM 21-15,kido/hendra won the 1st set..
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:29 AM Fu/Cai have simply no answer to Kido smashes..i wonder why Fu Hai Feng didn't smash oftenly...Is it they change their tactic???

Of course Malaysians would look at their own players coz they are Malaysians but they are not short of praise for other players at times. I think KJ is fit but not necessarily better skilled than HH. However, at the moment KJ is definitely better than Roslin and Hafiz.
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:29 AM wah.. foo just made a booboo shot...
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:31 AM Kido jumping high looking like he was about to smash but at the last minute making a drop shot.......9-6......

Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:32 AM cmon KiNdra..take 2nd game too
I'm sure they will..:D
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:32 AM wah this little buddha can even dive... damn good...
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:33 AM Kido already lying on the floor and yet the Chinese failed to take advantage......12-7....13-7....and now 14-7.....Kido all the way........
Erwin Kyoto 12-01-2007, 02:34 AM crazy..KinDra show real world champion playing...powerful smash, fast drive, trick shoot...complete...hope they can win...15-7 for KinDra
Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:34 AM 11-7 for kido/hendra..well played.Chinese pair made too many unforced errors..
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:35 AM Markis Kido is the man of the match today..
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:35 AM Cai is still badly hit by injury, no question INA will win. Playing against one strong and one weak opponents..
madbad 12-01-2007, 02:35 AM FHF & CY just look out of sorts. Their positioning and defence are awful
shenron 12-01-2007, 02:35 AM MD department nowadays is becoming more interesting with no country being able to dominate. INA is getting back to the position they used to be long time ago while CHN is not performing well lately.
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:35 AM chinese looks stunned... like no mood. kido too spicy for them.
Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:36 AM 15-7 for hendra/kido.They're just too good for the chinese pair at this current time.
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:36 AM Sigh.. tomorrow INA vs INA MD ... i hope Tony can win later.. At INA vs 50% INA :)
Erwin Kyoto 12-01-2007, 02:38 AM match point for World champion...

Chinese pair doesn't seem to be interested in winning this afternoon.......
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:38 AM Not an explossive match, pretty damn boring
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:38 AM wah... china stunned. Indonesian too hot to handle now. easy game for them.
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:38 AM Oh yes..Kido/Hendra win..Cool and calm..Poor Fu/Cai,walkover also useless..
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:39 AM Chinese pair doesn't seem to be interested in winning this afternoon.......
Their aim is to beat Koo/Tan in the final, after the MAS pair exist, they simply does not have the motivation to move on :D

bcmmgr 12-01-2007, 02:40 AM Kido/Hendra will claim world No.1 if they win the tournament, else KKK/TBH will remain world No.1
Fu/Cai perform poor today......
extremenanopowe 12-01-2007, 02:41 AM looks like the chinese are not participating in master. Is this true? Tiredness as the reason.
abedeng 12-01-2007, 02:41 AM Excellent!!! Fu/Cai were made to look like novice, haven't seen that since when Choong/Lee beat them at the All-England a few years ago.
Well done, Kido/Setiawan!!!!
Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:41 AM 20-12...kido/hendra won the match..
Who'll be in the final playing against them??Hopefully it's tony/chandra..hehe
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:42 AM Kido/Hendra will claim world No.1 if they win the tournament, else KKK/TBH will remain world No.1
Fu/Cai perform poor today......
Hope Kido/Hendra win and take over the no 1 rank...Koo/Tan better in some where 2 or 3...
Tjun Tjun 12-01-2007, 02:42 AM Their aim is to beat Koo/Tan in the final, after the MAS pair exist, they simply does not have the motivation to move on :D
Unfortunately KKK/TBH could not beat in-form TG/CW yesterday otherwise our pair has a good chance to win in the finals given their head-to-head record against Kido/Setiawan......:crying::crying::crying:
shenron 12-01-2007, 02:43 AM Kido/Hendra is likely to be WR #1 soon, replacing KKK/TBH. No wonder they won the WC...it's not simply about luck.
Jessica 12-01-2007, 02:43 AM Their aim is to beat Koo/Tan in the final, after the MAS pair exist, they simply does not have the motivation to move on :D

eaglehelang 12-01-2007, 02:44 AM Chong Wei wins. But a very sporting KJ has a long chat with him as they shake hands.
Maybe KJ said, afterwards me, PG, you and Taufik, we 4 go for tea time and discuss how to beat Lin Dan over Dim Sum.
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:45 AM Kido/Hendra is likely to be WR #1 soon, replacing KKK/TBH. No wonder they won the WC...it's not simply about luck.

He is asking CW to take care of his injury and wished CW good luck in the final :)
Maybe KJ said, afterwards me, PG, you and Taufik, we 4 go for tea time and discuss how to beat Lin Dan over Dim Sum.
it seems that LCW is the man to beat at the moment though.
CLELY 12-01-2007, 02:47 AM Yeah, impressive performance showed by Kido/Setiawan to overcome world number two Cai/Fu where this Chinese pair produce series of mistakes particularly in second game.
Smichz 12-01-2007, 02:47 AM Their aim is to beat Koo/Tan in the final, after the MAS pair exist, they simply does not have the motivation to move on :D
Hehe...sounds to me that these two pair is fighting for the no 1 in the world title yea?Koo/Tan afraid that they'll lose to CY/FHF,so they decided to get lost before so.That way, they can still hold the titles in the night a lil bit longer.:D:D:D
eaglehelang 12-01-2007, 02:48 AM Kido/Hendra will claim world No.1 if they win the tournament, else KKK/TBH will remain world No.1
Fu/Cai perform poor today......
Yup, Fu/Cai look sluggish today, making a lot of errors. They were more fresh in 1st round match against Zakry/Fairuz both in China & HK. Fu/Cai not their usual self, fatigue or Cai Yun's injury? Fu doesnt seem confident.
But Kido/Setiawan also made errors, maybe due to nerves.
Erwin Kyoto 12-01-2007, 02:49 AM Hope Kido/Hendra win and take over the no 1 rank...Koo/Tan better in some where 2 or 3...
ameeennn..hope it come true...thxs Jessica for my Favorite MD (KinDra)...:p
Hope they can beat uncle Candra/Tony...or their senior Luluk/Alvent in Final Match
zqloy 12-01-2007, 02:49 AM Cai is still badly hit by injury, no question INA will win. Playing against one strong and one weak opponents..

BUt i thought dim sum is only available in the morning,or for supper?..who's selling dimsum at the tea time?
FU4EVA 12-01-2007, 02:50 AM Sad that Fu/Cai loss their match. Fu made so many mistakes today. His expression proved that he is really very tired from the tight schedule. Both Fu/Cai were not chasing the shuttle like they usually do... Haih... Next year they will be back... :)
MK performed the best of all but HS was not really performing in the match. Quite disappointed with this match as both pairs were not performing at their top form... Neither exciting nor interesting...
samuel882 12-01-2007, 02:51 AM R u sure? Looks like Fu played worst than him....
I followed most of Fu/Chai matches.. When one is down, the other will lost focus & totally out of confidence..
