Hi all

I've been in Dubai for a couple of months and gather that badminton is not a big sport over here (they don't know what they are missing!!).

I'm looking for a club ideally or alternatively someone of a similar standard to play with on a regular basis.

I have been playing for a number of years and was playing in a local league until I moved to Dubai.

I live in the marina area, but I don't mind travelling to play.

PLEASE HELP - I'll go mad if I don't play soon. :crying:

Cheers

Simon

I would certainly be interested. Although I fear that my standard is going to have dropped after 7 months of not playing (and I know my fitness levels have!!).

Whereabouts do you play and what time, if I can I may try to come along this weekend (work permitting).

Cheers

Simon :)

It can be windy at times but a good player can adjust to the head wind from the sea

OK.... you can join us at Jumeirah Beach Park this weekend 6pm Gate 3!

Not sure if the beach will be too crowded or not,

if the beach too crowded we just go swim la!

Amanda,

The standard is quite varied there, from beginner to advanced. The gym is very close to gulf news building. Drop me a line for more info, 0508792901. Regards
