View Full Version : Where can I play in Dubai?!
simon_e 12-06-2007, 05:19 AM Hi all
I've been in Dubai for a couple of months and gather that badminton is not a big sport over here (they don't know what they are missing!!).
I'm looking for a club ideally or alternatively someone of a similar standard to play with on a regular basis.
I have been playing for a number of years and was playing in a local league until I moved to Dubai.
I live in the marina area, but I don't mind travelling to play.
PLEASE HELP - I'll go mad if I don't play soon. :crying:
Cheers
Simon
SibugiChai 05-20-2008, 08:22 AM I am playing at jumeira beach every weekend
anyone welcome to join!
simon_e 05-20-2008, 01:16 PM I would certainly be interested. Although I fear that my standard is going to have dropped after 7 months of not playing (and I know my fitness levels have!!).
Whereabouts do you play and what time, if I can I may try to come along this weekend (work permitting).
Cheers
Simon :)

SibugiChai 05-21-2008, 07:06 AM It can be windy at times but a good player can adjust to the head wind from the sea
