Have you tried Grand Rapids Community College (http://www.grcc.edu/)? It looks like they may have intramural (http://www.fastweb.com/fastweb/colleges/view_grand_rapids_community_college_6500) badminton. They should also have a Winter badminton class (http://web.grcc.cc.mi.us/Pr/docs/2007/2007-08%20Schedule.pdf) starting up soon. It is listed under Wellness (WE-131).
