The Yonex MusclePower Limited Edition is already available :)
Checked it out at a store in Bras Basah (Singapore) last week.
It looks quite like the Yonex MP-99.

Hopefully, the new coming arcsaber 10 is something like the AT700. if not please let it be a good racquet for doubles just like the new ti-10 :D

I have a feel that it will only reach Singapore after Chinese New Year. :o

I still remember I bought my AT900-P on the Chinese New Year eve from Artic Sport. :p

I'm sorry but I don't :(

I saw it last night too... one of my playing partners was using it.
He's a Yonex-sponsored player... and, well, he didn't need to buy it ;)

I might be able to snap a picture next Monday.

Yup, you're right. The JP coded MP racquets have a '0' for the second digit. This helps identify fake JP coded MP racquets.. lol
The reason why it's red is because it's the Thomas&Uber Cup special edition MP90/99.

Can anyone confirm the exact specs of the Muscle Power Limited Edition? I saw the racket in person last night, the only visual difference between it and the MP99 is the slight color difference, MP LE is more orange with grey instead of yellow with black. The grommets on the upper half of the racket looks to be cheaper(thinner) than the MP99. It has Ultimum Ti as well. Is it actually a MP99 with a different paint job? The price of the racket is very attractive though... only $599HKD.:D

When looking at just the shaft painting, MP99, MP-LIMITED and MP-TOUR are nearly the same. But comparing with MP99, MP-LIMITED is a bit orange, while MP-TOUR is a bit yellow.

Also, according to the wordings on the shaft, the MP-TOUR is of "Full Carbon Graphite" and also only "Designed in Japan" (seems to be made in Taiwan). The MP-TOUR is at a price of about HKD 4xx.

"Made in Japan" is a point, but what if the MP-Tour also gives you the performance and feel of a MP99? It may then be a really good choice for beginners or those with lower budget.

By the way, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your reviews to the MP-Limited. I'm really interested in this "limited" edition, haha.

Well, the MP-tour selling price is half of the price of the MP-Limited in Singapore.

And the Tour version is definitely made in Taiwan.

They also got a MP99 (SGD199, free 6in1 thermal bag and a pair of socks) there. T he tour and 99 do have some color difference.

The one at Causeway Point right ? That's where I bought my first Yonex racquet, a CAB8Sp for 35SGD. Sportslink seems to sell many racquets at a very discounted price.

I held it side-by-side to a white-yellow one and could not spot any inherent difference (other than colour).
Balance points were identical for both...;)
Have heard (rumours) that there's something different about the muscle power frame (though I'm not sure what the difference is).
I do not intend to buy one, as I have what I need in my racket bag right now (need to curb the urge to spend).:o

my bad .... lightning or thunder seem more suitable for AS 7 since it has yellow colour.

from the ad there are 3 different player, so the new rackets may each specializes on three different aspects:
1. striking power
2. overwhelming speed
3. control

seem like ANTS has at least 3 reviews to be done:D

1) when some of us say X number of new ARC is comming out, some means there are X number of unknow ARC. Some say Y number of ARC is comming out. That means Y equal to X number of ARC plus ARC7. What I means is do not pay too much attention on HOW MANY new ARC is comming out, just find a racquet that suits you the best. If it is NS, get a NS. If a AT is good for you, get a AT. If you play well with SOTX, stay with SOTX.
2) Don't fix on the name and number too much. What name Yonex put on the racquet is just a reference. Power does not mean you can hit with more power even without proper technique. A technique means nothing without good foot work.
3) A racquet is a balance weel. 3 items listed by tango are general category we are looking for. If a racquet has all 3 category, it is a all around racquet.

Don't worry about the review, Master Ants will put them up when the time is right. Master Matt will get his hand on some when they are rleased and give let us know what he think. There is no need to rush to go out and be the first one on the court to own one and people will come over and ask to try it out.

I think the yellow one is better than the purple one.
Don't you think purple is sooooo girly :D

Actually i think the new Ti-10 looks a little "cool" :P ~ but yeah i oppose the purple-ness but it does look fresh u know

Even though the purple one is a little girlish, I think it may just work better if it went along with some mean black strings and a heavy smash (user provided, of course). ;)

i have been trying to find the 2008 catalogue. i guess it is not out yet. maybe waiting for all arc sabers to be properly introduced before producing the 2008 catalogue. the purpleness of the new ti-10 intrigues me. i wish to see a close up of the new ti-10 too. :D

The purple seems to be only part of the cone area. The rest of the Ti-10 looks silver/black :|

if it plays exactly the same as the yellow one, then all yonex is trying to do is to make it slightly different to sell more racquets? what sorta company would do that? it's as if their only concern was to boost profits. what a strange concept for a corporation.

I agree the yellow one, looks better... but what I would think would look the best is the old beastly one? The nearly all-black ti-10, anyone have photos on that mean machine :D?!

I think it is a refresh of some sort. It does give the customer confidence that this racket is still "recent". You can also use the different colour scheme to denote differences between 2 same rackets with slightly different setups.

Still, Yonex is running a business and they are in it to make money...

Ar Dan

Yonex is just like any other business, they're in it to make money and to stay No.1 in the market. If you look at car manufacturers, they sell the same car every year, but only change the apperance a bit... it's all the same.

Some people didn't like he yellow color and ended up not buying the Ti-10, maybe now they will because it's purple.

if it's just cosmetic, then it's a bit pointless.

I've just received a newsletter from badmintonalley and they showed 2 new yonex rackets: nanospeed 500 and nanospeed 800. They both cost under 100USD. This was the description:

They're both composed of High Modulus Graphite and Nano Carbon Tubes. However, now you should all say this with me, "WHAAA???????!!!"

The NS 500 is head heavy, according to the specs on www.badmintonalley.com (http://www.badmintonalley.com).

I guess they're basicly like the same as the Yonex NC-Tuff series, which are like lower-end models of Nanospeed. They're quite head-heavy too.
