Major sport events such as FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games normally have official theme song as part of commercial aspect. There're several memorable songs which contain wonderful melody and inspiring lyric from previous Summer Games that still remembered :

- "Reach Out" (Los Angeles 1984)
- "One Moment in Time" and "Hand in Hand" (Seoul 1988)
- "Amigos Para Siempre" a.k.a. "Friends for Life (Barcelona 1992)
- "The Power of the Dream" and "Reach" (Atlanta 1996)
- "The Flame" (Sydney 2000)

"Forever Friends" is the favourite to win 2008 Olympic theme song selection, music by Oscar and Grammy Winner Giorgio Moroder, lyric by Michael Kunze, sung by Coco Lee and Sun Nan (mainland singer). Anyone knows about this song?

i thot it was gonna be ANDY LAU - " Everyone Is No.1"
they were madly promoting this album and song as olympic music for bejing while i was in HK during this christmas holiday

These songs can be found in youtube. I prefer the Andy Lau's one better than the main theme song. The MTV is also very touching. :)

i agree. it kinda has this haunting ethereal nature about it...good stuff!

Just confusing which one is the official theme song of Beijing Games as we know so many theme songs have been released...
