One little bead at the bottom of my frame got loose and now it's really making a difference in all my shots. I can't think of anyway to get it out unless I restring my racket but I don't want to...

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Adam

Bead? Do u mean the grommets? the knot?

Not the knot of my strings. The little beads that surround the frame on the inside. There all around the whole frame, and each string goes through a bead. Hope that helped a bit.

It is called a grommet.

Okay, one grommet came loose, how would I get it out? It's affecting all my shots...

It is hard to get it out unless the grommet that is inside is very small, in which case the next time you string your racquet, remove all grommets and then shake the frame and see if it falls out. If you don't have a grommet tool you still can take out the grommets but you must know what you are doing. Putting back the grommets is easy.

I meant, one grommet is loose, and it's going up and down on a string and it vibrates all my shots :/ How can I take it out without having to restring it? >__>

Try to use a small toothpick and place it in between the grommet and string. Then use a small and sharp tool to cut the grommet. The toothpick should be used to shield the string from your sharp tool.

Or get wire cutters (or anything that cuts by squeezing rather than shearing) and place it flush against the string, then you can cut the grommet.

Was it because the broken grommet that's still stuck on the string,or was it because there was one loose grommet? If that really matters to u,i suggest u go restring,n by then, ask ur stringer to change the grommet.

That happend to me once as well, with my kason carvel U-3.

playing with a missing/cut out grommet may lead to the string being rubbed through and broken faster, just restring your racket
you will need to eventually
